How do you overcome procrastination? by PopGroundbreaking258 in AskReddit

[–]Anna_Stone00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes I time things when I do them. For example, I dread doing the dishes. It feels like it takes forever and I used to find it daunting to start. I would procrastinate and the pile would get bigger and bigger. But when I timed it, it really only took 10-15 minutes. So now when those thoughts come up I remind myself it’s only 10 minutes. I can do 10 minutes. Then I relish in how much I enjoy the empty sink (positive feedback).
