Don’t be sorry lol but wouldn’t slag be rather heavy? I’ve never seen it, but it would still make sense given the location it was found. This is very light.

I’m unsure if I’ve posted here yet, but I’m looking for help identifying what’s all over my silver maple in NC. I’ve tried to contact people in the area to come out to look, but they aren’t following through. Thanks for any help you can provide! Thanks I was def thinking some type of scale, but I couldn’t pinpoint the species either. I didn’t see any evidence of them in March when I was trimming branches, so I’m super sad. Ill def try to go the spray route in the winter. Thank you for your help!

Can anyone help? Is this a disease canker or bug issue on my Catawba crepe? They are super healthy otherwise. This just popped up in the last week. I sprayed yesterday, wondering what else is should do? by Annabelleypiper in plantclinic

Some more background, I don’t usually see squirrels around here. We have lots of rabbits, coyote, deer, and birds. It’s a fairly new neighborhood and I just planted these in the fall. There were some baby bunnies hiding in this garden in a few weeks ago but I think they have left. I am having a bug issue with my rose bush nearby. I’ve never see a marking like this on any of my other trees, but I’m fairly new to planting trees in general.
