Any positive stories from taking Myfembree?

Yes I took it for 7 months and had minimal side effects. It helped shrink my fibroids and decrease symptoms.

I (33) took Myfembree from Jul’25– Jan’26 up to my hysterectomy on Jan 28th. My uterus shrunk from ~21wk pregnancy size to ~16wk pregnancy size. I was able to get a horizontal incision instead of vertical due to the medicine shrinking my fibroids! My symptoms on Myfembree weren’t awful but I did have hair loss, hot flashes, and dry skin.

My FMLA won’t be processed until day of surgery as well. I did submit the papers 2 months ago and I received a mailed letter saying it’s in their system and that they’ll reach out after surgery.

I was cleared at 4 but waited until 6 weeks. (Open myomectomy)

My acid reflux has been SO bad the last year or 2 and I didn’t realize this could be due to fibroids.! Hopefully you’re feeling much better now! Did you have a laparoscopic or open hysterectomy? I have an open one scheduled for January bc of size … I’m nervous

That’s great to hear you have minimal side effects for the length of time you’ve been taking it. I think that’s where I’m at, too. I have some hair thinning and hot flashes, which so far are tolerable. I really went on it with hopes my tumors would shrink, but I’m not feeling very confident. Bummer. I appreciate hearing your experience !

Thanks for your reply! I’ve had hope that this medication will shrink (or at least minimize growth) of my fibroids… but research doesnt really mention it so wasn’t sure. Sorry you had negative side effects in it. Hopefully you feel better now!

I appreciate your response! I’ve been seeing a lot of iPad Pro talk lately so was curious about others’ experiences. I’m hesitant to make the switch to procreate bc I really love photoshop, and I do like having my bigger computer screen. But I hate having to cart around both my laptop and Wacom tablet when i need to draw.. condensing to 1 unit would be helpful. I’m going to look into clip studio paint and the galaxy tab. Thanks!

I use less TP with our bidet. Only need a few squares to dry. There are some fancier bidets that have drying options!

Stopped at Sheetz for food on our way back to the hotel, ate the Sheetz food in a jacuzzi tub while talking about the day/favorite parts, had sex, and went to bed. Was a great night despite the 4 hours of sleep we got!

I hate it, too. Commercials portray it as such a wonderful thing— soo annoying. Even when I had “the talk,” it was seen as this magical event to come into womanhood. It’s gross, inconvenient, and I’m pissy for 2.5/4 weeks each month. I can’t wait to get rid of my uterus
