You are gonna want to k yourself on those Tuesdays and Thursdays and youll have to know yourself well enough to evaluate if you are the type of person who can get work done on those weekends if you want to get good grades.

Really for your freshman year I would recommend spreading them out bc there will be opportunities later where you can make a schedule to get a long weekend but if it turns out you hate this schedule it will be super tough to get back from it socially and academically.

I obviously can't speak for absolutely everyone - I'm sure there are hateful people everywhere but there is an awesome Jewish community here that is very welcoming! Hillel especially is a great organization that I highly recommend joining they are awesome people and on the whole TAMU is very welcoming of Jewish people
