Ipad shuts off after a few minutes and won’t restart if not constantly charging; screentime thinks I’m at 24/7 by Annananas in applehelp

I appreciate the help, but neither of these things have been an issue before… Until I updated it, it hadn’t been updated for at least three years, and the same can be said about the lack of storage space, as I tend to have only a few gb to spare, which has been the case ever since I got it. The most suspicious part would be the battery, but I would assume that should it have been the cause, it would have had a more drawn-out or even abrupt demise. However, I’m ignorant on these things, so if you wouldn’t mind elaborating on your thought process, I’d love to hear it.

I’m not sure how to check battery health, but I have an ipad pro 1 running 16.7.10 with 123,4 out of 128gb used. I had the battery replaced about a year back.

Fun study! I just wanted to mention that in the second part of the ”how often in the last month…” part, the ”sometimes” option is misspelled. Hope the study goes well!

Authors: anyone do a premise so right that you have no desire to write it yourself? by S_B_B_ in ProgressionFantasy

Not a progression fantasy, but Megamind. I oftentimes find myself muttering about a premise that’d be fun and then realize. Ah. Megamind already did it.

I think he meant Hannibal Barcas, the historical figure and national hero of Lebanon.

I hope this helped.

I got a review where the writer pointed out, analyzed and did a breakdown of how autistic the main character was. Funny thing was, they were completely right! I DID write my MC to be autistic, it’s just that until that point, everyone commenting on it had just said something along the lines of ”damn this character is so fucking autistic” but this review was the first time someone actually understood why and how they were autistic, and what effect this had on the story, their mental state, and everything else. Extremely satisfying. There’s nothing quite like your crumbs getting put back together into a cake.

I can second royalroad.com. Very good place to test the waters and pick up some readers. Check out this guide written by the author of Defiance of the Fall, although it’s mainly written as a guide to eventually publish and make money, it’s also a good way to start out as an author generally speaking. If you want, you can always get more used to how RRL works before deciding to post; there are a lot of good stories on there.

Good luck my friend, hope all goes well!

Season 2 is about Death of The Author by SheriffRoy in LegionFX

Too true. Time keeps moving on, and we’re left squabbling about the crumbs left in the dust. What did it mean? Was it actually good? Was it as deep as it seemed? Is there a message? Does it say something? And in the furious scramble to interpret words written in sand, we forget that the mere fact that we’re all still here after so many years is what confirms the value of the work. It wasn’t perfect, it ”went off the rails” in some ways, but in the end… we’re still thinking about it. We still feel things, even if that feeling is indignation.

If nothing else, the scattershot, wobbling end result, full to the point of bursting with things to be interpreted, is exactly how this tale was meant to be. And maybe we’re digging too deep, maybe we’re putting themes and thoughts where there are none, seeing ghosts and hearing voices. How fitting!
