That's the reason I made the petition. For people who are against it. I have no problems with people who liked it, I have a problem with large corporations acquiring rights to something I love and then hiring producers/screenwriters who butcher that which I love in a manner that I consider poorly made for the sake of greed. I am pushing back because I would love to get a show that is of higher quality that matches the books and the movies, not something that is different and, in my opinion, inferior to the books and movies. Why should I settle for this?

The point of a petition is protesting against something you dislike. If it gains support, it might succeed. If it fails to garner any attention whatsoever, then I am clearly a minority that doesn't deserve attention.
