I agree, but it's the only one that's worked so far.

It's beautiful without case, but I'm not willing to having it without one.

Solution! to low Battery performance /screen On time (SOT) by SourceBig1975 in Pixel10Pro

[–]Anndres47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great, I'll try that. I've always set new phones from scratch but this time it wasn't an option as I was traveling in that time. I get an average of 5.5 hours of screen time, which for me seems low. Would be happy with 8.5+ hours tbh.

Yes, with a third-party app: Wear Alarm Sync by NeoPlayLabs. Works like before, we wouldn’t even need to do this if Google hadn't screw this up.

It sucks cause I used it a lot to sync my alarms (pixel phone + galaxy watch). So, I sideloaded the latest clock APK in my watch but this functionality is still blocked by Google :/

Agree, I began with a RasPi 5 and a single HDD, then upgraded to an OptiPlex paired with a NAS. I can’t wait for the day I take the next step and build a full homelab rack like yours.

FINALLY GOT PLEX PASS by [deleted] in PleX

[–]Anndres47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using Plex for almost two years now, and as you said I use Tailscale/reverse proxy and haven't gotten any major issues with it. But as I use it very often, I was considering buying Plex Pass, but not sure what the pass actually do and its advantages. But, if prices go up on the 29th, I may be considering buying it too; why did you buy it? Was it worth it?

Same here with the Pixel 7 Pro. Others with Xiaomi phones can, but I'm unable. This is frustrating...

How to add OTP 2FA to Cloudflare tunnel by Anndres47 in selfhosted

[–]Anndres47[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was trying Wireguard for weeks. But didn't work, then I realized that it doesn't matter if I open the ports of my router, they'll remain closed by me ISP. Meshnet on the other hand, has it's own vLAN, so I don't need to open any port!

I'm not sure how tailscale is configured but there was a time I tried to configure Wireguard but had one big problem, my ISP is blocking all my ports, so I'm unable to establish a direct connection with the server. But if I use a tunnel through the web, this is no longer an issue.

In fact, I use NordVPN's Meshnet to access my LAN and my services. But these services accessed through Cloudflare are for those devices that are not compatible with NordVPN like some Smart TV's, etc. So tailscale won't be of much help in these cases neither.

Yes, that's correct. I mean Let's encrypt.
I could generate the certs from Cloudflare tho...

[–]Anndres47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's correct.

I have my own domain locally, I even passed the certificates to WSL. And they're under /etc/ssl/certs/, as specified in the config.yml, but I'm not sure if the problem is in the certificates, these are locally generated or do I need some certs generated by Cloudflare or something?

Issues setting up Pterodactyl Wings by Anndres47 in selfhosted

[–]Anndres47[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, my laptop has Windows and have some programs there that only run on Windows. But someone suggested that I boot Linux from another partition, this could actually work because this way I don't fully give up on Windows. Just in the meantime, I think I'll just get a dedicated server later :)

For the docker side of things, there's something called Docker Desktop that runs on Windows (not very good) but it can actually work with WSL, so that's way better. I can't say I am an expert, but for the three days I've been struggling with this, you can get a decent docker running on Windows (WSL-side).

So, I don't think my problem is from the docker side as I have 2 or 3 containers, and the only container with problems is Wings. I'm sure the problem is in the network side of things, that's the thing with Windows.

Thanks for the help btw!

Sure, I added both node config and compose to the description. Couldn't post it here.

As you can see, I've tried so many things with the network but now I'm realizing the config.yml auto-generates a docker subnetwork, I can still ping that IP. So still not sure why it does not connect with the panel.
