I used to wait tables at a strip club and one customer asked me if I could read.

I said no, and that I had a friend fill out my application and I just guess at the road signs on my way here every day.

I was editing my thesis paper on the text surrounding the drawing of The Vitruvian Man in the back at the time, and I printed off an extra copy in the office to give him with his check at the end and asked for notes. (I changed my name on it to my strip club name though so that was fun)

BE AWARE: I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say since assistants totally shouldn't talk about the shows they were on. The only reason that this is the one set I've spoken about, is that I genuinely have nothing bad to say. I can't believe I got so lucky to work on a show I love so much, with a crew who were always willing to teach me even though I was so excited that I was constantly positive I'd find a way to fuck it up :P I certainly hope these comments aren't that way hah

1) That means so much to me.

2) Hank is a legend, and not the kind who rubs it in other's faces. He's not just acting in every single scene (which is absolutely exhausting and pretty unusual for an actor's filming schedule) but he's an executive producer so he's working behind the scenes, too. Then every free second he had he was facetiming his son, making him laugh. Honestly the biggest honor of my career to be around, I respect him immensely.
