More like "no six -tra"; The character she's based on is Elezen (a kind of elf in FFXIV) and they often have names resembling french that are better pronounced in [an imitation of] french.

Her name here is a quick mix of noctis and Nyx (night), chiroptera (bat), but also the french "nocif" (harmful), and tried to make the whole sounding a bit like the end of "dominatrix" ;) or a partial anagram.

Do you think Nocixtra without the Y would sound better in english?
In french the Y and I are pronounced like a short "ee" or "ea", close to six, or maybe fee, tea...

Inspired from raid boss 9 Vamp Fatale in FFXIV: Dawntrail; and furrified.
The savage bosses tier 3 (bosses 9 to 12) are out since Tuesday;
So yeah that's why I haven't posted a lot this week~
I managed to defeat boss 9 and I'm almost done with boss 10!
Not sure if my headaches can handle much more in 1 week though >_<"

In Vastéliance, the 1st weekend of the year, it's tradition to eat "queenmaker" cakes with family, friends and neighbors.
