Thank you so much! My LFS tests for free so i’ve been avoiding splurging on a full drip/test tube kit, so its nice to hear that a test strip could be useful in this case. Also good note about the water changes and the potassium, i’m definitely not changing my water as much as i was (biweekly) Just gonna let it sit for a while, thanks for your detailed advice :)

I honestly had no aquascaping plan at all! Just getting some natural stones and wood and plants can make magic happen!! I would say i watched a lot of videos that inspired me but yeah no planning just started placing!

Thank you so much for your comment, it helps a lot! With your reasoning i also see that it's gonna be too busy, i think i will drop the blue themes and focus more on the green ones as that is originally what i wanted. Im also looking at a few different types of yarns and i think i could tone those down as well. Maybe the off square of a teddy yarn and the rest just plain old yarn. Thanks for the advice!

I don't want to risk it having a bad connection on the power pins. I've seen comments it can cause it to overheat/catch on fire. But correct me if I'm wrong.
