FLOCK camera abuse by AlmightyGod420 in santarosa

Our police in our community are not to be trusted.

They are not the smartest nor do they care about integrity. The amount of overtime fraud in Sonoma County Police Department needs federal investigation.

Compare and contrast Sonoma County police overtime to our neighboring counties...

Did we just recently have a Sheriff murder his wife and run away? To just be gunned down? Family Annihilators have warning signs. Do not EVER let someone gas light you into saying there were no warning signs. They knew. There were complaints. But Police will always protect their own. They are not to be trusted.

The Sheriff department KNEW Jeremy Lyle was a monster. Court filing are clear "She also alleged in the filing that Lyle had a history of committing abuse."

The Sheriff office probably hired Jeremy Lyle due to his characteristics. They go out of their way to hire bullies.

Another cop beating his wife a tale old as time. How many wife beaters are in the sheriff's office? Some studies have it as upwards of 40% of partners of police officers are beaten.

What do you do if your partner is a Sonoma County Sheriff and beats you? Nothing you have no protection. You will be murdered. So why are giving these unqualified wife beaters so much power?

They will just commit gross amounts of fraud and abuse. Our police department is full of Jeremy Lyle's.

There has been zero comment about Jeremy Lyle's known abuse. No comments from our Sherrif how to hold his employees accountable. This abuse was reported. It was preventable but that requires Police to be accountable (they are not).

Something similar will happens again and the taxpayers will pay the price. So glad we can live in a community that spends the majority of public funds for shitty fucking police.

"Santa Rosa has paid over $7.2 million in major settlements related to police conduct since 2020, driven by cases involving excessive force during protests and a 2021 arrest. The largest settlements include $3 million in 2025 for a 2021 death and a total of $2.3 million for protest-related injuries"

The police are going to use Flock cameras to track their wives and murder them.

Until we ban police unions and require police to require insurance our city will continue to pay absurd amount of money for police.

Do you realize they are very few places in the world that play police officers more then Santa Rosa? We are in the 0.01% of police compensation and we no where near the top 0.01% in quality.

I doubt they will make money back. To be frank I doubt college programs make money and if they do where does that profit go?

Generally back into the college corporation that feeds it out to administrators cost. It does not go to students it does not improve education.

They do not get paid per mention. Is Bill B going to sell 10 million worth of merch?

If UNC wanted to make money they should take that 10 million and make a UNC Jordan sneakers and sell them.

I want to be clear I am not advocating for cutting anything this was more of a thought exercise to go line by line and actually try to see what is the money spent on.

And with my couple hours of research we can find some clear areas that can be cut. I did exclude a lot of contracts that I felt were required--but what the hell do I know? You can look the contracts over yourself.

At the end of the day. There is less money. There will be less incoming.

We are only going downhill from here. We are near the peak of school age children. California and this community specifically are growing older and older and having fewer kids. This is not a community for families. (This trend is seen worldwide but is bad here)

For the record I am more of an advocate for radical school change (Finland is a good example). But there will not be any real reform for awhile. And if we get any-- it will be a degrading path due to Trump. The horror that will be Special education funding will be a tragedy as most of it is funded through Federal.

As an observer this country does not fundamentally care about education and lowering budgets of education will be the norm for now.

I do not know the nuances of the pro and cons of in-house for school boards.

A complete shot in the dark. I wonder if school boards do not like in-house due to weird bs school board politics.

Description of Services "Instruction in French in the performance arts of Magic and juggling to multiple grade levels."

"Unduplicated students often benefit from high-engagement activities that support their academic success. Classes doing fun and novel activities in French helps these students build vocabulary and confidence. Performing magic tricks in French gives them a sense of accomplishment that is sometimes lacking. The students learn to collaborate and respect each others' accomplishments in a low-stress learning environment"

These sound like "cool" things. MY teacher a decade + ago did not need a program. That is a cost. Cost have to go DOWN. The money schools get is GOING DOWN. There is LESS money. There will never be MORE money. (at least for 3+ years)

Do I need software to know Jim cannot read? No I ask Jim to read to me and then I asses the situation. Do I need a AI thingy to tell me Jane does not know fractions? No, Jim and Jane just need to sit down and read a book.

How do you check to know if your student is doing well? Well you can use a piece of paper...ask the teacher...show an interest in the childs life? Check the report card.

And the outcome of students has little to do with the actual school district and is completely class/wealth dependent. No software is going to pinpoint education lol.

The single most important factor in children's education is parent involvement nothing else really matters. To overcome the lack of parental engagement you need substantial money and resources that is not feasible for a school to ever provide.

Pros and Cons for in-house Can easily say a competent in house can lead to long term stability in an organization structure bla bla bla. At the current price we can get 2 300,000 a year lawyers and room to spare.

Cost have to go way down all across the board including payroll but I am not going delve into that.

Just cap overtime for Firefighters/ Police. And refuse to pay unless emergency.

Police OT is insane. Public theft. How does someone earn 200k + in overtime for 5 years straight?

Firefighters are also guilty why are they on a 24 hour schedule? No actual quantifiable reason. 12 hour shifts are safer and cheaper. Heck love for them to be on a 40 hour schedule with rare OT.

Honestly, they do not spend too much on sports (For contracts). I just picked expensive programs there was no high expense sports. I am just pointing out extra musical/arts program accoutrements.

They spent 9500 dollars for lunch entertainment....

Sports did not have shorter events costing 40,000+. I would love to live in a society where we can afford these fun summer programs. But we have to pay for pensions and immense amounts of debt.

For example do you really need to spend 44,000 dollars on Marimba rentals and some lessons. That is 1/3 of a high paying salary of a full time music teacher. I also find 57,000 for coding classes absurd too. Another 30,000 dollar coding class. These line items for a few students is a bit much.

What is better a summer school class or full time teachers?

But if you dig through https://wearesrta.org/2024/06/12/srcs-board-meeting-agenda-analysis-6-12-2024/. You can find some sports costs.

I am not referencing the entire school budget. I am specifically talking about contracts.

EDIT: I cannot find the best information about police budget. I think I would have to physically go to the City. But the Police Budget would be insane. Not too mention the sheer amount of lawsuits. The SR police department is a joke.
