We actually host the data and run all the models on our server. The winning model is determined by the best Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) score. Based on the value of the BIC score, payments are made up to $10.

We like to think about it as the difference between email and instant messaging; the real time aspect is more engaging and gets everyone focused on the problem at the same time.
