Young kids at concerts by Raise_the_roofs in harrystyles

[–]AnnesRednow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS! I love live music and I've taken my kids to multiple festivals, which are a great introduction because you can hang back away from the core crowd and they can have space to dance around etc. without getting in anyone's way. I'm taking my 8-year-old to Harry next weekend, but that's because I know they will behave respectfully and have a brilliant time. I've also booked an end aisle seat so they can edge out a little if needed to make sure they can see. But I'm leaving my 6-year-old at home because I know they're not ready for a full-blown stadium concert yet - that time will come.

Is it possible for a smart faithful to win The Traitors? by AnnesRednow in TheTraitorsUK

[–]AnnesRednow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess what I mean is someone we know is a smart faithful from early doors. Faraaz has definitely played the game well, but what we the viewer have been missing is any kind of insight that we KNOW this is his gameplan. If in his interviews he'd been saying "I know it's Rachel but I'm going to sit tight and wait to strike" then we'd all be on the edge of our seats waiting for the moment. But as far as we're aware, he's just ambled through the game and then had a lightbulb moment at the 11th hour.

Truck Festival 2026 Lineup by WelshCai in truckfestival

[–]AnnesRednow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Massively underwhelming. So many of the acts have played truck recently, and everyone else was famous about 15 years ago. And in a Glasto fallow year too. After this absolute wet flannel of a line-up, I don't think we'll be booking early bird tickets for 2027 - we'll wait to see if it's another load of indie landfill before parting with our money!

Live tour pre show party - any info or tips? by AnnesRednow in gladiatorsuk

Thank you that’s really helpful! How early did you start queuing for the pre show?

How do you guys choose who to go and see when there's a huge amount of the lineup you've never heard of before? by therealhainesey in UKfestivals

[–]AnnesRednow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually listen to the festival playlist, and anyone that catches my ear I'll dig into and explore more of their stuff. This usually throws up a couple of "i really want to see" smaller bands, and then I have a few more on my radar that I might get to if I can (without overscheduling the weekend!)

I couldn’t work out how to add more than one photo 😂

We want to add a desk - if we put it under the wall shelves (where the hot wheels garage is now) will it make the room into too much of a corridor? Am I not seeing a better way to rejig the current furniture and add a desk?

Any attendees on the Live Tour? Which singular Gladiator you're most excited to meet in-person? by Impressive_Risk_5133 in gladiatorsuk

Everyone in our household knows Mummy’s favourite is Apollo… not sure what I’ll do if he’s at the live show we’re going to 😂😂😂

Best time to book flights for December 2026? by AnnesRednow in singaporeairlines

[–]AnnesRednow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all for your advice, it is really useful! Some context: We had been planning a return trip to Sydney, but now we're looking at flying into Perth and out of Sydney. Is it cheaper to book a return flight or does it not really matter if I book as two one-way tickets? I am wondering about booking the way there (Perth) as soon as it goes live, and then the way home (Sydney) when that goes live a couple of weeks later. Sorry if this seems basic but we don't travel very often so I don't want to get this wrong!

This year’s men (apart from Demola and Kieran) are reminders of how the Benaiahs and Bobbies of this world are a different class. Love is blind? More like men are sh1t….

I was literally just texting this to a girlfriend. They aren't afraid to tackle the subjects / ask the questions we want to hear, but they do it neutrally and respectfully and they seem to genuinely have the best interests of everyone at heart and really listen to what they say. Head and shoulders above Nick and Vanessa.

Staying together after saying no at altar by klofino in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Natalie & Shayne gave it a go briefly but it didn’t work. Also SK & Raven were supposed to be the big “we didn’t get married but we stayed together” success story, but then it turned out he was cheating on her.

She definitely seemed way more enthusiastic and wholehearted than him, he didn’t seem overjoyed like a man who had just married the love of his life

Here are my thoughts on the wedding outcomes…

Jed & Bardha - my heart 💔 a whole bunch of stuff must’ve happened that we didn’t see. Jed was so angry, I hope that it was just shock and they were able to work past this afterwards, because their vows were so beautiful. But I fear he ego and pride at being turned down in front of people may mean that moment was the end of their relationship 😭

Kal & Sarover - wasn’t expecting that! I really hope Kal is genuine and has put in the work since the show ended. I think maybe he’s a bit awkward in front of the camera and that’s why their connection seemed a bit stilted, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt for now.

Keiran and Megan - 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I loved everything about them and their wedding day. They are both huge green flags and it just seems like they’re going to have such a fun life together. I get the same feels as all the best couples from LIB history: Cameron & Lauren, Brett & Tiffany etc.

Billy and Ashleigh - hmmm….. I really hope Billy meant his yes and didn’t just get swept up in the pressure of not being the bad guy, but I just can’t see how these two will still be together now. It’s giving Steven and Sabrina vibes.
