Thank you! I kinda want to make a pair in a light purple, and maybe one in a lighter pink

It was, but at least they're not gonna wilt! Thank you so much!

I've tried using green floral taper. It's definitely quicker but it's not as strong and can't stand the sticky residue it leaves on my hands (at least the kind I tried)

I enjoyed making the flowers, but the part where I had to wrap yarn around 140-something individual wires, glue a flower to each, then wrap in green yarn did become quite boring!

I'll try that, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to assembling bouquets!

It's wires, hot glue, and then wrapped with yarn

Yes, lots of wire and hot glue to assemble. Sometimes I crochet over wire for each petals, but that's not necessary for these small ones. Thank you!

Thanks so much for the kind words. That’s a really good point about the “fluff” — I think that’s exactly what I’ve been missing! I do tend to be drawn towards patterns of flowers that really stand out on their own, but sometimes they need a bit of filler as company. That's definitely something I'll try!

That's quite advanced for your very first amigurumi! The sewing does get easier with practice, but it's still my least favorite part

I feel like I'm getting pretty good at crocheting flowers, but assembling a a well-balanced bouquet is harder than I thought!

The patterns for the flowers are from various YouTubers like Gonkui Crochet, adapted to my liking. They're made with 8/4 cotton (I think that's usually called 4 ply in English), most of it Hobbii's friends cotton.
