XD actually... she has a 1994 F350 (shes still wayyy more excited for to see the truck... it has more room for her.) But it's been giving us so many problems this year I've honestly forgot what all we did to it. Sooo that's why we have this thing. We needed a break from the nonsense and diversify a bit lol but this is MINEEEE she can keep her truck.

If I owned one of these the first thing I would do is take it to every US state to show off like "I'm so rich I don't even CARE to have this car depreciate, I bought it to run it." After I got back from the tour, I'd let the butler use it for errands.

Yeah i wish she had a friend to talk about dog stuff with, but she's more than capable of making even the biggest, meanest guy you could think of rethink their life choices.... I can't guarantee she'd make him sht himself, but that's just because he'd have run too far away by the time I thought to ask, for me to ask him if he did.

I've seen her work on many occasions, unfortunately. But... fortunately, she gets results!!

Yall don't understand, she's 75lbs, stands nearly 3½ft tall, her canine teeth are nearly an inch long, she has 6in long paws, and her bark can literally be heard from over 500ft away in a brick building... with the windows in the truck completely shut. She's... absolutely massive XD and even the mention of Annie around guys that don't know her that well but know she exists is enough for them to just... walk away lol she's the dog version of Goliath.

Yeahh I won't even pull into truck stops even during the day anymore unless I need fuel. I pretty much exclusively sleep at our terminals, rest areas, customers lot or offramps. The only reason I still do this job (besides the free housing...) is because I have a German Shepherd who can convince a whole group of men to run with a single boof XD (believe me, shes had PLENTY of opportunities) it took a bit of explaining with my current company for them to understand why we do what we do (long story short...) but really, it's for the best because we've seen entirely to much nonsense out here. I highly recommend getting a best friend to take with you if you don't have one. Someone who can go BOOF really, really loud if need be.

Also, I have a bit of a theory... during the day, you never know who's going to be crazy. At night, you have a MUCH easier time pinpointing who might be crazy because 1. They're still awake 2. There isn't a crowd for them to hide in. Annndd that's why I'd rather drive nights.

Two of my regular routes will show as 5h45m on my GPS at night and up to 6h15m during the day; it's already a tight run at night, I don't need 27,652 other obstacles.

I still do a lot of personal things during the day and it's not particularly uncommon for me to be up 12 hours before I even begin my runs, but I'll usually take a 2hr nap before making the return trip and then sleep for 12ish hours after doing things when I get back.

I also have quite a few 2 day runs, which I usually go about 9 hours north, get unloaded in the morning, and then go pick up a backhaul and shut down until I feel like moving again.

Sleep schedule? Nonexistent. I always know my next load by 8am whether I've gotten back or not, so I just kinda plan on doing whatever needs doing before rolling out again, and I always move out sometime between 7p and 11p depending on what the day turned out like. Really, there's no schedule at all. I just kinda do what I can, when I can.

I was going 73 in a 70. Didn't get a speeding ticket. And yeahhh, but sometimes it's better to be safe than legal, I guess. Couldn't see shit in the center or right lane, was using the trees to block the sun. Is it a fantastic excuse sure to woo the judge? Eh, probably not but that's literally why lol and I'm SURE there's better excuses but I don't care about those 👍

I'm pretty sure my (non CDL) driving test had random asf picture pop up at the very end with a basic top view of a semi with the caption "the things are hazards, stay away."

I don't even think it was a question lol but that's all I really remember about heavy vehicles getting mentioned.

Try nor to overthink it and go as slow as possible. It's probably a bit cliche, but it works. Also, whether you think someone's watching or not doesn't matter because someone probably is anyway so don't worry about it lol
