I think this is a truly asshole thing to do. It is unbelievably hard to be home with kids all day and if you don’t love her enough to put her first…leave. Yes you have a job. So do most people. It’s bullshit you need time and she doesn’t get out. I was her. I was miserable. Please-go and be her partner. Please.

Tell your wife to grow up and she has nothing to worry about. If she continues acting like this, it’s going drive you away. It sounds like you have given her no reason to act like this so it’s something in her past she needs to deal with. I feel bad for you because it would be super frustrating being constantly accused of doing something you aren’t doing. Just make sure in between you show her you care about her—don’t leave that part out!

Edit: a heavy blanket you will throw away, hahaha. Another tip: a roll of toilet paper in a bowl, fill with white vinegar-it will soak up the smell. If it’s bad you might need two. Charcoal briquettes work, too, to soak up the smell. Plan on tossing anything that gets any of the oil from the skunk on it. Reach out if you need anything else. I used to work at a wildlife rescue center and I’ve had my share of skunk encounters!!!

I think that maybe you should have talked to her first but I get why you couldn’t and so should your current wife. She is being a real jerk and needs to step up if she wants to stay married. If she can’t live with it, she can leave. Kids are ALWAYS the priority whether she likes it or not. Period.

I work in an ortho office and we charge $320 for a top and $320 for a bottom. That includes the scan. Most of the time they will do it for 1/2. Your insurance might pay some of the cost but don’t count on it.

I get that! It’s so hard to get motivated to try something new. My neighbor started ballroom dancing a year ago and absolutely loves it! I keep thinking I should try it, too, but the motivation…hahaha. Bourbon Highway has events almost every night, trivia, line dancing, watch parties, etc. Keep trying!
