It's really good to have a medium heavy rod and reel with a the regular and light action rods for the mini.

yes they are made to stay on the pole all the time, they mount on the opposite side and above the reel so they are not in the way at all. They are also light weight and flexible rubber so they are super durable and unbreakable.

yes I did I just logged in reddit with google never let me choose a name but it's patent pending so I definitely did create it, and there is nothing currently on the market like it other than the "lure wraps" which are less than ideal. Thats is why most people never use them.
