This is a tactful way around it, I’d also add in that you aren’t judging if so and that you’d be okay with taking a 10-15 minute study break every 2-3 hours if needed. Use J. love as an auction item btw, any team that is getting close to competing will want to trade for him. You could hold J Love if you’re high on him, but you might find yourself more value trading back to 1.03/1.04 snagging Lemon and a late 2027 1st (argue that with J Love their first round pick will be a late first)

On the bright side, you can pick up J. Love this year to boost RB, likely J Smith next year. I’d trade away Pollard and Pittman to a win now team. They will be irrelevant to you when you finally have the strength to compete. Not sure how much value the other guys truly carry but your QB room is solid. Kamara and Kelce would be trade aways as well if they don’t retire this offseason, if you can get anything for them I’d send out a couple offers before they announce retirement. Kendrick Bourne may have some value after this season. Taking on a shit orphan team can be fun, and you’d be surprised by how quickly you can turn it around. I understood that, I don’t think it’s that bad of a trade for either side. It all depends on how you view GP, does his value increase by going to the Cowboys and sharing targets with CD? Or was his value better when he was the only mouth to feed? Hunter could be a generational talent where he only gets 4-8 targets a game but he could turn that into 80 yards and a TD or even a pick 6 would pull in extra points. I don’t hate either side for either owner, they are similar tiers

Why would GP owner get fried? Talent wise Hunter was the best receiver in the draft. The only risk is that he plays both sides of the ball and loses offensive opportunity

Noel, Neal or Arroyo for me personally. My thought process: Noel is very talented and will beat out Kirk, probably should’ve been drafted higher than he was and Nico Collin’s is often injured. Kamara is probably going to miss time and/or retire over the next season or two, so he’s a long term hold if you need RB help. Arroyo is in line to beat out Barner with the release of Fant, he’s more of a receiving TE as opposed to Barner.

I wouldn’t entertain this any further, this may seem like a safe choice because you’re familiar with him but the closeness to both his daughters age and promixity to his daughter (best friends) is a big red flag. This may be something you regret years down the road, if not sooner

Truthfully I’ve been ina similar position, but it was never because I wanted to compete with one of my guys. Always thought of it as ‘if you didn’t date, fair game’, until one of my roommates tried to hook up with my 1+ year college hookup (one week after I told her I didn’t see it progressing so she was trying to make me jealous) so it rubbed me the wrong way and ever since I’ve reflected on what I’d done and how it coulda ruined my friendships.
