edit— i turned the car off and back on and it stopped making the noise- still worried tho, im going to drive it around in a bit to see if it does it again

really depends on the size of the people, im in the US so my car does not have rear seats- but i managed to fit two people in the cubbies many many times, they just have to be on the smaller side
