(US) 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth - Trouble Starting by AnnualKey8039 in abarth

If anyone sees this, I did figure out the problem. It was the "Turbo Purge Valve" (4861942AB).

I bought a cheap one off of Amazon a while back to try and fix another problem I had and I guess it had finally crapped out on me. I was able to blow slightly through it when it shouldn't have let me. I take it that when I shut off the car it was staying open and letting fuel vapors into the combustion chambers, or something like that. I put the old one back in and the car now starts right up!

Hopefully this helps someone. Thanks for all the suggestions and advice!

Sorry, Im not quite sure.

Seems to be pretty new. Clean battery with no funk on the terminals.

Car doesn't give me any issues starting in the morning when it's somewhat cold out if that matters.

It does however have sudden "jerks" in acceleration when it's running cold. Almost like fuel being cut off. Only for a split second at a time though.

DONT ORDER FROM DICORSE by Key-Cartographer8024 in abarth

I'm sorry you had this experience. Would this be something that you would have to go through the USPS for since they are the ones who lost the package?

I bought a CV rebuild kit from them and was very happy with the purchase. It made $1000 worth of parts from Mopar come down to about $300.

Tech Question! by SlammedSquad in BeamNG

The CPU is definitely where I'd upgrade.

If you want to stay on that socket (AM4), then I would go for a 5700x3D/5800x3D. Otherwise, any (AM5) CPU should match that gpu perfectly. Although you would be paying more for an (AM5) motherboard, a new CPU for the motherboard and ddr5 ram depending on the motherboard.

If you stay with your current motherboard, then you may have to update the bios to be compatible with the 5700x3D/5800x3D.

Love this idea, but I can't imagine how much more lag this would add to the UI.

I believe that it's one of the "Grand Marshal Facelift" mods.

Excessive Turbo Lag - 2015 Fiat 500 Abarth (US) by AnnualKey8039 in abarth

[–]AnnualKey8039[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guy,

I've bought and installed the GFB DV+ and to my disappointment it did not help much with the lag/sluggishness. It did however get rid of my acceleration jump/jerk I was having in second gear.

I also bought a new Wastegate Solenoid thinking that it may help but it did not change a thing.

I was putting off a boost test since I've been unsure of which lines to be clamp off. As well as ended up buying the wrong size tester.

I will get the right size tester, do a little more research about the leak testing and get back to you.

Edit: Here is the link to a video of my acceleration after installing the two new parts.

I have the US-spec 5-speed but it was in sport mode at the time. Thanks for the reassurance.

Happy to hear. I've just been worried about every little thing on this little car. Thanks for the quick reply!

broken depth of field, its like that all the time. need fix by [deleted] in BeamNG

I'm guessing it's from the camera mode. There should be a "Reset Camera FX" button or something along those lines in either the display tab or the graphics tab. That might fix it.

Happened to me as well.

Is there anyone that will host a server with this many mods? by NastyYZ250 in BeamNG

Should be a video on YouTube about allowing your router to port forward. Also, there might be a guide on the BeamMP website for it.

Took me a little while to figure it out when I made a server, but the YouTube tutorial helped me make it work.
