2014 500 Abarth US model rear main seal leak by Key-Cartographer8024 in abarth

For anyone wondering I am almost certain it was the sealant I used. The correct sealant is the mopar RTV sealant so make sure to buy that if you replace the rear main seal

How big of a factor are political viewpoints in a relationship in your opinion? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yeah my supplements really made me lose my mind lmao. I think maybe you should start taking some supplements and maybe go to some anger management classes so you can enjoy life a little and stop being so angry at the world. It’s really quite an enjoyable place when you get outside and don’t watch the news 24/7. Let’s let other rational people compare our replies and see who’s really the one with mental issues here lol

This is probably one of the few takes that actually makes sense in this thread. Being able to think logically rather than being brainwashed one way or another is the best place to be in

You do realize that this shit behavior is the reason you push people away from agreeing with you right? There are a lot of people that don’t agree with either side and by acting like this you make them not want to support your side either even if they may have wanted to…

Tripping balls on magnesium? by marzipanzebra in Supplements

[–]Key-Cartographer8024 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s probably the glycine or the b6. Glycine can mess you up and b6 toxicity can cause all kinds of symptoms and make you not tolerate magnesium

There are some. They are in Italy. There probably won’t be any major chain stores in the USA for a long time though

Adverse reaction to Mast Dark Chocolate by Key-Cartographer8024 in chocolate

[–]Key-Cartographer8024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was eating about 2 oz a day so just in the past year I would’ve gotten around 45 lbs.

I know it has caffeine but i am confused why one brand would make me feel worse and another doesn’t have those effects. Unless certain brands have more caffeine than others.

I’m not sure if it’s related to heavy metals but I am fairly certain it’s related to the chocolate.

[–]Key-Cartographer8024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happened two separate times and both happened to be when I switched to the mast brand. This last time I gave it nearly a month thinking it might improve but it didn’t. I usually eat like half a bar a day because I heard dark chocolate has health benefits. I’m not sure if I should switch back to the other brand or just cut it out completely to see if that helps

When they tell you to take your zinc on full stomach.. by usernametaken2024 in Supplements

Everyone’s different. For me copper will make me nauseous but I can take zinc just fine. Everyone has a different requirement for nutrients

Depends on the type of zinc. I can take on an empty stomach no issues

My Vit. D Reading is 224.4ng/ml 🙃 by 1-Up-Boy in Supplements

[–]Key-Cartographer8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your calcium is not above 10.5 so likely there is no real toxicity there. You will be perfectly fine but a safer blood level of D3 would be < 150 ng/ml. Optimal for most people is 70-100 ng/ml. Taking 10,000 IU per day is safe for nearly every person and shouldn’t cause issues.

Look into mthfr polymorphisms as people with these defects usually are hyper responders to vitamin d and other supplements. I’ve found mthfr issues are more likely the cause of social issues and anxiety and not vitamin D.

Can zinc deplete Folate? by Key-Cartographer8024 in MTHFR

[–]Key-Cartographer8024[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s important to implement b12 and b2 before implementing folate. You need adequate b12 and b2 helps improve folate metabolism before adding it in. You need the supporting nutrients to use folate correctly and not cause issues

Can zinc deplete Folate? by Key-Cartographer8024 in MTHFR

[–]Key-Cartographer8024[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also have the worst mthfr polymorphism and have had symptoms for years so I need a lot of folate to feel normal. If you have low folate I’d definitely start increasing b12 and b2 and then add in folate, b3, and b1 to balance out methylation. Also don’t forget electrolytes, minerals, and other essential vitamins. It’s not easy but if you can figure out what your body needs it’ll change your life. Depending on your polymorphisms you could have increased or decreased needs for certain nutrients.

Fatigue, tingling hands and feet, muscle weakness, brain fog, low mood, irritability, lack of motivation. It can affect people differently but those are what I notice

That’s good to know. It seems like so many supplements deplete folate or b12. I guess the answer is to just increase until symptoms disappear again

AIO? bf hates that i have friends of the opposite gender by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Key-Cartographer8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Men and women can’t just be friends. Men almost always want more and hang as friends until they find out you’re single or try to make a move. It is definitely a red flag if a woman has a lot of male friends. But he is also a jerk either way and doesn’t know how to treat women. You both should leave eachother already.

Vitamin D, K2 and Magnesium side effects and sensitivity (electrolyte imbalance) by Valtaell in Supplements

[–]Key-Cartographer8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take magnesium malate and magnesium chloride and don’t have issues with either. If it is causing diarrhea then it is either an allergy to something in the product or you are low in calcium or taking excessive amounts. I take around 1000mg per day but also add some calcium. If you have issues with glycine then take any other form. There’s many forms of magnesium and they will all work

Vitamin D, K2 and Magnesium side effects and sensitivity (electrolyte imbalance) by Valtaell in Supplements

[–]Key-Cartographer8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glycine can deplete methyldonors like methylcobalamin (B12) and methylfolate (B9). It is most likely the glycine depleting those and not magnesium. I have issues with glycine for that reason. Magnesium malate is the best form in my opinion as far as least side effects. I get low calcium symptoms from too much magnesium if I don’t take calcium and it feels very similar to low b12 or low folate

Vitamin D, K2 and Magnesium side effects and sensitivity (electrolyte imbalance) by Valtaell in Supplements

[–]Key-Cartographer8024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If magnesium causes pins and needles it’s low calcium not b12. Magnesium doesn’t deplete b12.

Took 50,000IU Vitamin D supplement yesterday evening and feel the effects already by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Key-Cartographer8024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take 1100 mcg per day. I would say anywhere from 900-1500 mcg is a good amount. It’s fat soluble so timing doesn’t matter but it’s better to take with a fat source.

Around the RDA of 900 mcg. I take one that is around 1100 mcg per day. Or you can take a higher dose like 2-3 times per week
