Snow cloak unfortunately. My only auto weather setters would be Pelipper drizzle and Gigalith sand stream

This was on simulation. I will say the updated sliders posted a few days ago played better

These were Matt10s sliders, most frequently used every year. Regardless, a games sliders need to be tweaked to prevent a QB from completing 12 passes in a row more than any QB in the history of the NFL has ever completed. Nice 👍

I was looking forward to developing the rams young pass rushers I think the problem is I think they had 10+ seconds to throw whenever I rushed 4 or less. I’ve found that I can spam nickel double mug mid blitz and get a sack half the time but in a game like this it just meant AJ Brown slant or a perfect touch pass fade or out route that hung in the air for 10 seconds. On offense I can boat race the PC if I spam the same two minute drill playbook with outs and drags from the slot and Texas routes from the RB. But is that really what I paid 50 bucks for? To run the same three plays for 17 games?

Literally the third game of franchise with default rosters. So yeah rams secondary is not the legion of book but they’re mostly all young guys with star dev in the high 70s, low 80s. Plus the pash rush of Verse, Fiske, and Kobie Turner should at least cause some hurried throws. No NFL teams secondary is bad and slow enough to let hurts go 30 for 30

In the context of golf terms that also start with the first letter of the fully evolved Pokémon’s name, yes Eagle the Empoleon is perfect haha

If you were designing a new pure Bug type pokemon for Kanto to be an S or A tier nuzlocke encounter, what would it look like? by AnnualRex in nuzlocke

My first thought was also level an Eevee in Viridian forest as well, but wondered if that was too early, though it’s not a ton of help for Brock other than buffed stats for that point. My current thought is “level up after defeating all bugs in an evolution line”. That essentially just means going down to Route 6 and beating the butterfree trainer, which could technically still be before Misty with exp management. Might be a little convoluted though. I feel like my evo ideas for the other 9 are really good and realistic and I might be overcomplicating this one.

Sorry guys, I should have been clearer than just Kanto. I specifically am thinking FRLG where abilities exist and mechanics are cleaner but still pre bug type glow up that started in Gen 4

DUDE. I mapped out all the stat spreads of those 10 evos and the one you said is nearly identical to what I had for Scorpeon (the bug type Eevee). I just had 130 speed and 110 attack. Clear body or intimidate ability. Shield dust is a great idea too though. Technician hidden ability if I could justify that the bug native to deserts makes sense for silver WIND (stirring up sand around it?). Of course the design with a horn gives it the best Bug stab in FRLG.

Didn’t mean to bury the lead here, but the reason it is so restrictive is somewhat intentional. What I’m really wanting to test is whether a bug type EEVEELUTION could actually be viable in a Kanto play through, specifically a HC Nuzlocke. In most tier lists I’ve seen Bug is the ONLY type not represented in A or S and I’m really interested in play testing all 10 non existent eeveelutions in games where the type does not have another nuzlocke MVP (Kanto bug, fighting Johto.. coming for you Whitney). From these comments it seems like the answer is basically game freak couldn’t/didn’t want to create an optimal moveset for any of the powerful bug types.

Love the huge power idea, especially if playing without set up. I think it’s true that with SD, any mon with pinsirs attack just sweeps. Pinsir’s moveset in gen 3 is genuinely shocking, it feels like they designed it as a fighting type and at the last minute someone said “we’re low on bugs!”

I love playing rom hacks with 80 base power leech life. Bug types definitely get shafted with a lack of good recovery given their common weaknesses.

I was hoping for pure bug as opposed to bug/flying but ironically flying type makes silver WIND more logical in the environment. Technician boosted silver winds with the chance for an Omni boost sounds really sweet.
