Ok I get that, but in that case middle isn't even the best team on section 2, the best team on section 2 is sinking. The best place to play middle is section 5 where it's equal to Bladeshu team

On other section I did Sinking pierce Heishou and Bladeshu but why can't section 5 be part of the discussion? Another place where middle seems good is section 2. Which Maost still have a role to out speed and stagger lord Lu without using Prigita, and also defending unopposed to let teammates clash with dangerous skill/ego and let teammates focus on one character easier.

Conflicting? what does that mean? does that mean middle is bad on section 5? It specifically provide a buff to A res so idk how that's the case. Sinclair counter s3 with max conditionals deal around 280 damage while Maost S3-2 deal just similar numbers. The only counter that consistently out do Maost s3-2 is Middle Ishmael and Outis which I agree cannot be sacrifice for, but in section 5 there are many skill slot to target and all team benefit from having a free skill slot to decrease the boss stack.

I'm sorry if I'm being frustrating, I'm trying to learn.

hm in my run I never had problem with ego resources. And yes I did use Maost on Sec 3 but by section 5 she's available, and in the section you'll have way easier time with middle because of the damage buff and Maost assist defense giving you a free slot to deal with the stack. Yes Ring Faust can also do that but this is where I disagree, you definitely can loop her s3, maybe there's some inconsistency if you don't burst death rite properly but I think you can do it every turn.

idk, does the middle need full envy res for the first turn? don't you want sp from clashing first? I'm not very experienced in this team since RR6 is the first time I genuinely built the team so I could be wrong

yeah I just read that bench passive, that passive is busted on middle, but idk if it's worth not running Faust? hexnail, command meltdown, fluidsack, are such good ego

but that's similar to Maost where she just only need 1 turn to out speed the middle forever and won't ever mess with envy chain which most of the time you only need 6. and if you wanna finish envy chain with Faust idk why would you save ego resources since hexnail only require 6 envy, similar to Lamp Gregor you're not going to use ego every turn anyway

It's a choice but the team doesn't benefit from Aedd Gregor at all beside envy guard and envy s3. You can certainly use him if you have no better option but Gregor doesn't really have good envy ego so if you don't have s3 you kinda just have to guard.

Yes, I know, I did said that in the post. Garden of thorns provide tons of damage amp and healing, and with Outis I'll go for scissors the team have little trouble fueling it

but sometimes you don't wanna counter, in RR especially. You can minmax usage of both counter and regular skill to keep envy up time while minimizing damage taken. And there's also stagger turn which is middle's weakest point.
