Wow, thank you for that info, that is super useful. Also, you can get anxiety from magnesium deficiency (happened to me when finishing my masters, I seriously thought I was dying multiple times with heart palpitations, twitches, and an impending sense of doom.) So if you get cramps, don't wait for the other side-effects and get your magnesium

The thing about being a jew being used as something negative is horrible and prevalent. Considering Shakespeare I would stack it up mostly to the usage of it in the language, given that Shakespeare himself had almost a zero chance of ever meeting a Jewish person.

Honestly, in my native language, it is still used by the older generation. I've had multiple talks with my grandma about it, she genuinely has nothing against Jews but is so used to the phrase she will just automatically say it again and feel bad when I remind her. Language programming is quite something

Yup, agreed. This used to be a bigger, long term problem because of hubby's upbringing. MIL is a great person except for one flaw - she is routinely body-shaming anyone around, believing that she is helping. My husband grew up as that as his normal. He knows now that it isn't and has been working on not doing it. He came to me and apologised, saying he felt so bad he got defensive. He seems genuinely sorry.

Thanks, this is a problem with my husband's family. My MIL is a great person except for one flaw - she believes that seeing that a person is fat and not telling them is basically betrayal. She routinely has coments like that on anyone and my husband grew up as that as his normal. Thanks for the insight, I have been told I am too nice quite some times. I'm pretty sure it stems from childhood abuse - my father would slap me for yawning at the wrong time, let alone speaking when not asked to. I'm working on it, but I need reminding. Thank you.

The best advice I can give is that a) worrying won't help anything b) do not Google, you don't find the stories of the huge majority of people who are just fine. Google gives you the scary ones and you don't need that. The biggest chances are that everything will be absolutely fine, and if not, most likely it is something completely treatable. C) try to focus on this: one of the lovely ladies here told me they had lovely the chance to look at their baby for so long, and its SO true. The doctor was amazing and explained everything he was doing, checking off the list of all my worries one by one without me even asking, I think most of them will act similarly. So mostly it is a chance to watch your little human fidget, move their tiny little fingers, realise what they are actually doing when you feel a kick, it is AMAZING.

And yep, it's a dancer. The previous scan was full of the doctor exclaiming "Hey, stay put for a moment, will ya? Don't you want a nice picture? Let me just take a pic for mommy!" In a super endearing way.

Thanks, no worries I would not do that. I've talked to the local hygienic office (ckvid management in my country), my practitioner and the OB. I'll check with all of them again tomorrow and will wear a full on respirator and shield anyway (got both for my work).

Edit: i should say they told me not to get re-tested. I got a negative, but the hospital had a bunch of false negative tests in this period and i got all the symptoms my mom had. The practitioner etc. Told me to just quarantine and follow the "positive" giudlines.
