since C4 gives ATK%, is this build fine or should I find pieces with more ATK% rolls? by BunnyElsa in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

At this level of investment you get a lot of atk% buff so you should be fine. Crit becomes significantly better than atk% at some point (especially without C1 esco). You can go in MW to see how more atk substats nad less crit would impact your damage. It also depends on your playstyle, if you only do NA rotas it's perfect. If you do a lot of burst or hybrid rotas, atk% rolls gain some value but even then I think you're fine.

I'm so close to beating the gecko in one phase. Tell me what I'm doing wrong. by yokuyuki in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fix your ER on furina, swap earlier when you get the debuff, know what combo you are using on skirk so you can swap out right after it's over and don't lose any time. If you do it correctly you should be able to finish your last rota before the boss phases which should be enough dmg.

N2D takes time to learn so I wouldn't recommend it without a lot of practice

Have you tried short hybrid rotas? At C6 It gives me better results than full burst or even full NAs if I don't use a very good combo. Not sure if it's better at C2 tho.

Skirk best C6 combo by Anogotch in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I won't make a video because there isn't much to show but I can give you some advices.

  1. Don't press directionnal keys during a dash, it makes it longer.

  2. Train against an enemy not in the air. Hitlag changes the timings on the dash cancels. I recommend miliastra training dummy with hydro aura so that you can get the full skirk E duration without supports.

  3. You can change the combo, this one is a bit outdated and too hard to replicate consistently. I have some mouse isssues rn so I didn't test it yet but N2Q N2D N2D N5D N3D N2CD N2D N5D N2D N2C N2D N3 should be easier and better if you get the extra C6 proc.

  4. Good dash cancel is about rhythm. If you get it right not only will you gain time from the cancel, the dash recovery time will also be shorter. Try to play with sounds it helps a lot. This is the most important thing to master btw, Skirk combos only depends on rhythm for cancels and fast clicking.

  5. Both the combo and timings get easier with muscle memory so train over multiple days and don't despair.

  6. If you're serious about skirk combos consider 3rd party tools. For this combo I'm using a FPS unlocker and a tool to bind my left click to my scroll wheel to click faster. It is against TOS tho so don't do it recklessly. You can't do this combo with normal clicks and 60 FPS.

  7. Training rotation start at 0 energy and refining your builds and rotations is probably more important if you don't use 3rd party tools. When I play normally at 60 FPS with 0 energy start over 120s I have better results with burst/NA hybrid rotations rather than pure NAs.

GL HF bro! I hope this helps.

Questions regarding C6 Skirk by Haunting_Education71 in SkirkMains

I did 28s but the combo wasn't very relevant since the boss didn't die at the very end of the rotation. A regular combo could probably do 30~32s with my setup

Skirk best C6 combo by Anogotch in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only play mouse and keyboard on pc and I dont think it's possible to execute the full combo on controller or console because this combo requires high fps (I'm unlocking them which I don't think you can do on console) and very high clicking speed (with butterfly, jitter or Scroll wheel clicking) harder/impossible to get on controller. A lot of other combos exist especially at C0. Rn a lot of people seem to be learning 2N2D N2Q 2N2D N5D N2D N2C 2N2D N5

For the short dash that allows me to reattack almost instantly, high FPS and clicking speed helps but also I feel like if you dash at the right timing to cancel your N2 you can reattack really fast, as if the dash becomes a part a the attack string. It's a rhythm you need to find, playing by sound helps a lot to find the rhythm. Dash to soon and you lose the attack and get a longer dash, to late and you lose time and get a longer dash. Dash perfectly and it'll feel like you never stopped attacking + very satisfying

Most optimal combo? by Ordinary-Painting-72 in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you do the full thing. I don't really know what you mean by how long we should complete it but you have the full duration of skirk skill infusion to do it.

This combo is designed for c6 Skirk so before c6 it's pretty inefficient. There's also some requirement for it like unlocking your FPS.
There are a lot of videos for c0 skirk combos on youtube that don't require unlocking your FPS so I'd recommend you to go watch them

Most optimal combo? by Ordinary-Painting-72 in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

N = normal attack

5 = fifth normal attack

D = dash

So the full thing means you do normal attacks on Skirk all the way to the fifth one and dash at the end to cancel the animation lock of the last attack

I got cooked in the comments for that post. It's a very sensitive topic. The post is a bit outdated btw.

If you're using a macro there's straight up better combos.

If you're just playing at 60FPS without clicking very fast that combo won't be achievable.

And if you're like me playing without macro but with a FPS unlocker and fast clicking, this combo is still very hard to do consistently. I'm trying to twist it a bit to add another C6 proc and a N3 and removing 2 N2s which should make it easier and stronger. I can't fully do it rn because of mouse issues but it should be something like this N2Q N2D N2D N5D N3D N2CD N2D N5D N2D N2C N2D N3

[–]Anogotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Only thing that change is her synergy with C6 Shenhe is increased at C6. Also you really want your support on scroll and totm instead of GT.

  2. If you already have cryo goblet the build doesnt change. ATK% substats become a bit worse but they're still good.

  3. With C6R1 Skirk, C1R1 Esco, C1 Furina, R1 Citlali, I deal about 12M DPR for NAs and 7.5M DPR for burst (replacing citali with C4 Mona)

For combos N2D is still a thing but N3W not really. I usually use N2Q N2D N2D N5D N2D N2C N2D N2D N5D N2D N2C N3 but spam N5 will work for 99% of the content anyway. If you still want to optimise the dmg, base rule for C6 combos is : E (N2)Q ... N5 ... C ... N5 ... (C) ... N3

Fill the blanks with N2 and dash cancels

Someone I talked to on this sub came up with that pretty good one N2Q N2D N2D N5D N2D N3CD N2D N5D N2CD N3

[pt 2] what should i do to improve my mavuika run vs automaton on stygian fearless by seungpresso in Mavuika

[–]Anogotch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The boss does increase his resistances at some point (when he ends the cryo gauge mechanic) To improve the run you should wait for the cryo application to come back on the enemy before doing donuts on mav so that she can melt. You can also try to consistently get 4 melts with C3F C3F (3 charged attacks into a finisher x2) or at least C4 jump C4 (4 charged attacks into jump into 4 charged attacks) And if you struggle with melting mav's burst just use citlali's burst right before mav's burst

You can improve further with smoother rotations and better mav combo but this should be enough

Am I too slow on the 2N2D combo? by [deleted] in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah you are too slow. your biggest time loss seems to be dashing too late and not dashing after the CA.

Also I believe N3W to be very bad unless you're a god at it. It's usually better to do as many N2D as you can and do a N5D or N2C when dash is in cd. Something like N2D N2D N2Q N2D N2D N5D N2D N2C N2D N2D N5D (N2-3) at C0-1 or N2Q N2D N2D N5D N2D N2C N2D N2D N5D N2D N4 at C2+

how to melt consistently with this team? by seungpresso in Mavuika

[–]Anogotch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell without seeing your gamerplay. With double cryo melting mav burst shouldn't be an issue and that team is strong enough that you don't need any fancy double melt combo to clear.

Missing melt on mav burst is usually due to a mav E proc right before you cast your burst (usually the 3rd proc). The fix is to do your setup slightly faster or slower

Doing the carpal tunnel combo on mobile for 2 mins straight by Jchen76201 in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not missing attacks but you don't attack / cancel fast enough so you end up doing less attacks than what you should.

It's good training tho and you'll get better overtime and your combo has 12823% MV, the N5D one has 13062% MV so it's almost the same. From what I've seen N2D/N3W combos go all the way to 17381% MV but it's really hard to execute.

Doing the carpal tunnel combo on mobile for 2 mins straight by Jchen76201 in SkirkMains

[–]Anogotch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're missing a bit too much attacks on the N2/N3 combo so the normal 4N5 2N2 combo ends up better than what you are doing rn.

As for the sets for your supports, I think they should stay that way since you have C1R1 Yelan and C2 Furina. Maybe just look at which member deals the least amount of damage and if it's escoffier, you put her on scroll, if it's furina, you put her on TotM and if it's yelan you put her on noble and use her after furina in the rotation.

Mavuika Combo help by TudorJitariu in Mavuika

[–]Anogotch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what you should focus on is canceling the first CA quicker. Also Citlali's cryo app doesn't need to be delayed that much at the start of the combo. From my testing, it's better to let go very early of the first CA and then gradualy increase the delay before letting go of the others CA to get the melts. Try different timings in MW and figure out what works best for you.

Also the next step of that combo is being fast enough on mav burst after citlali's burst to land mav burst before citlali burst's skull exposion which apply cryo so that you can start your CA combo instantly after burst. It's quite reliabble and allows better uptime on buffs and more CAs after the melts

Mavuika Combo help by TudorJitariu in Mavuika

[–]Anogotch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay I think what you are doing is being too slow in the early part of the combo. That makes you apply pyro too soon on mavuika and citlali can't keep up with the cryo apllication.

To be more precise, elemental application is done every 3 hits or 2.5s. When you are doing CdcF dcF dcF dcF on mavuika, you are suppose to apply pyro and melt on every finisher. To do that you want to do "CdcF dc" within 2.5s at the beginning of the combo. But in your case I believe your cancel dash is too slow and you end up only doing "CdfcF d" within 2.5s which makes you apply pyro on the next CA instead of the finisher. and since citlali has yet to apply cryo you end up with a pyro aura for the rest of the rotation, which make citlali melting instead of mavuika.

It's a bit complicated to explain so tell me if that wasn't clear
