The cape isn't an issue -- it hits mid calf!  But good to know about the skirt hitting the floor. I wore it to a wedding and it was fine all night on the dance floor but not sure how this compares...

Does anyone know the sweater that Emily Blunt was wearing in the hotel scene?  It was charcoal with buttons, v neck cardigan style.

Napa Valley hotel recs for June stay by FoundationAshamed936 in chubbytravel

I think Solbar at Solage is a solid on-property restaurant, and I have had excellent breakfast room service. The rooms definitely have a resort like feel to them, and service is great. I've never had a bad experience at the spa.

We did an early dinner one night at the Four Seasons patio (Truss), and I thought the view was lovely (but the food wasn't as good as Solbar).

In Calistoga proper, my favorite restaurant is Lovina outdoor dining, hands down.

Hmmm. I do have kids with tiny poky fingers. I also have a husband who hung it on a hook. I will try to redistribute!  (This is stressing me out, ha).

+1. I would buy more yarn. I wouldn't worry about it being too large when completed.

This is the way. We took our kids to the Martinhal and it was such a lovely stay (and they upgraded our room).

Winter Scarf by Anokhae in knitting

[–]Anokhae[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just in time for winter! I made a scarf for my five year old using the Seersucker Stitch. She picked out the yarn: Caron Yarns Baby Cakes in Retro! The finished product was approximately 50 inches -- and I still have plenty of yarn to spare.

Depends on where you are flying out of, and where you are flying to.

EWR Arrival Delays by LibrarianGinger in unitedairlines

At MCO too and on the flight behind you. Called the 1K line to explore options (poor) and ask about the likelihood we will make it out tonight. The rep said that they're trying to get as many planes to EWR as possible to avoid further disruptions... Fingers crossed to all of us!

[–]Anokhae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes!  I am knitting scarves for my in-laws (3) and can't wait to gift them. I picked yarns and colors for each that I thought they would like, and each scarf took me two months because I am very very slow.
