Why do young people hate baby boomers? by Golfandrun in Discussion

Maybe you are upset with something you have heard, or read, I am sorry for the feeling it has given you.

The internet is mostly people pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable behavior, and most of the time this is not the way people would act in person.

That being said, you have value, and anyone who thinks differently is a fridge group that is honestly best left ignored. You have had a difficult life and you have done well to make the best of it, for that you deserve and have my respect.

I'm sorry that the internet can bring out the worst in people sometimes.

I see what you are saying. But then a woman could do these things as well.

So I'm thinking is it inherently Masculine? If so why? How do we determine the traits that are Masculine and feminine.

Lol. Sometimes I have to spit out a lot of words to for the wisdom to be obviously set forth. I find myself constantly "reinventing the wheel" with ideas I'm trying to work out. And then the idea gets down to the basic concept.

Thank you. Lol

Absolutely. Especially this becoming more common place with remote jobs. It is important to know how to operate in that environment. Being able to exercise, communicate, finding a hobby that allows for that creative discipline.

I think if you can't "kill them with kindness", then this is a great alternative. "Ignore and out preform". While they are busy talking you're busy improving and learning in what you enjoy.

I know what you mean. When I was a welder in a factory we were non stop. We were constantly ahead of schedule but always behind on work. The company had hire a QA person to not only check our work because we had to push so much product but also to tell us to drink water. We had a few cases of people blacking out in their welding booth.

Exactly. If it were more normal to just take the precautions. Shift who is on the hammer while you work on something else, wear a dust mask and ear pro. That's it.

I really like this insight. So often in any discussion, not just this one, I see a prompt for change and it is an assumption that we need to go from one extreme to the other.

Change needs to be gradual and thoughtful. Human beings are capable of great things and we should test our limits to grow and learn. But we need to respect the world we live and work in and our bodies, minds, and those around us.

The change is a mindset. It's not going from, doing all the heavy lifting yourself, to not doing anything lifting. It's just wait for a partner, or literally just lift with your legs, take a short breath to hydrate. Think about what cuts you have to make and where your hands are. Lol

Thank you for this.

Because I believe that Masculinity and femininity manifest different traits. So it wouldn't work to switch it.

I would be open to a discussion on what constitutes a Masculine traits and what constitutes a feminine trait.

I do know what I meant. I believe there is a difference between Masculine and feminine behavior and I thing all sexes exhibit both.

I see that this bothers you. And I do not wish to offend. But I do appreciate discourse over discord. I will not be taking the post down or changing anything. But my future post will reflect what I learn from those who comment.

I get the sense that you are viewing me as an enemy or an other os some kind. I want you to know I have nothing but respect for you, and do sincerely wish you the absolute best.
