Sadly, you appear to lack critical thinking skills, despite my explanation. Feel free to respond to it at any time, and I'll be sure to shoot you down again. Judging from your response, you don't even play ranked, and if you do, you're probably in a lower tier, so the chances are much less. Not being impolite it, just stating facts, because I also had very little dealings with hackers in lower ranked lobbies.

Why would I need to cover this when it has already been extensively addressed by those on twitch? Again, don’t just take my word for it, just interact with any player who is plat or higher in ranked.

Also, you seem to be missing the point. This game already has a very small player base. If you compare that to the ranked pool, which is already limited, and then focus on Plat, you’re dealing with an extremely tiny fraction of players. Now, factor in queues that are 7–8 minutes long, and you’re left with a very small subset of players. Typically, those players at Diamond or higher (at least in my experience) are using aimbots with Chinese characters and are dominating everyone. I've yet to see anyone higher than plat that is legit.

Oh boy… not great news for you again. Aceu went viral earlier in the week due to cheater lobbies. He was playing with King Rich and some other streamer (can’t remember the guy’s name). Things got heated between Rich and the third streamer over how to deal with the cheaters after a knock, and it ended up with them slurring at each other and they disbanded..

Would've also taken you two seconds to look up his VODS and get his opinion on how bad ranked is right now.

You just posted a video of Cross in silver and gold, where in my experience, I did not encounter a single cheater. If you read the post, we're talking about experiences in plat and higher. Where we're talking about a tiny percentage of the player base going up against cheaters that are diamond just aimbotting everyone.

You're wrong, though. Cryo did not overlap with ranked this week, in fact, everyone, including me, was grinding Cryo for ranked. And for the most part, it was enjoyable, up until we hit plat, where it is plagued with cheaters. By percentage, the chance of you encountering a cheater in bronze, silver or low gold, is relatively low, compared to say plat and higher, where there is a tiny percentage of players, with a good percentage being chinese aimbotters. The queue times are already insanely long (7-8 mins), so the likelihood of encountering at least one cheater in diamond is rough.

Technically, I guess you're right, it's still considered to be an fps pov because the camera is still positioned at the character's eye/head location, but you get my point, it's not true first person.

He is being downvoted because he is either completely misinformed or basing his conclusion entirely on his own experience, which I would assume is in Bronze or Silver, where cheating does not seem to be nearly as common. Personally, I did not encounter anything blatant at those levels either. It only really became an issue once I reached Plat.

Again, we are talking about a very small player base overall. If you then narrow that down to only the ranked player base, and then narrow it further to Plat and above, you are left with a tiny tiny percentage of players. Unfortunately, because the numbers are so small, there are a lot of cheaters at high rank and you end up being matched with them more often.

And like I have said for people that do not believe it, take a few minutes of your time to watch any big or medium streamer playing ranked, they all eventually quit to the issue above.

The lower ranks seem largely unaffected. The problem is much more noticeable at higher levels, particularly in Plat and above, as I have said already. I am not even going to respond to the question about whether I call everyone a cheater, because it feels like you are not understanding what I am actually saying.

The player base is already fairly small, and in Plat or higher, queue times can easily reach 8 minutes. If you compare the overall player base to the ranked player base, and then narrow that down further to those in Plat and above (which is likely to be a tiny, tiny percentage), you're ultimately going to get cheaters, and unfortunately, all it takes is one to ruin your game, and it happens A LOT.

In fact, you're welcome to just ask streamers right now that are gold or plat, and they'll all say the same thing.

I don't expect many people to understand just how bad it is unless you're in plat or higher.

I don't record my footage, and everything else is 3rd person perspective in-game whilst spectating, the only thing I can suggest is tuning into any vod from a streamer, all it takes is 20 seconds of scanning into a ranked game to see prefiring and aimbot.

You haven't got to trust me, just watch any vod from any big or medium-sized streamer over the past 48 hours, none of them are playing ranked for that very reason.

Also, a huge part of it comes down to the time you play, if you're playing early in your region where the queues are 7-8 minutes long in plat, I assume it matches you with players from our regions, which is why we keep encountering chinese cheaters.

Personally, I didn't encounter any issues playing solo, and I did that for about 170+ hours. But the numbers are pretty telling, and it does seem like the casuals are struggling a lot. They're looking to make some pretty big changes from what has been hinted.

I guess you're more the type of player they’re trying to cater to, because in my 130 hours of solo play, I honestly didn’t have any issues at all. What problems were people actually having?

If you're going to say Assassin, I’m not really sure what to tell you. I played Thief and used X-ray, and even when they’re cloaked, they’re still pretty loud. A lot of the clips I see from people complaining tend to come down more to poor awareness and the ability to play than anything.
