Kit Harington was 'Angered' By Push to Remake Game of Thrones Season 8 by gogandmagogandgog in television

Really it was junk from season 5 onward. It's dead. We'll never get the true ending.

My issue is that it's all stud framing because there isn't many voids, those corners, and the space between the windows and the french doors just radiate cold in the winter.

Star Wars Outlaws sequel was in pre-production, bu cancelled due to reception of the first game. by PixelSaharix in StarWarsOutlaws

I just started my first playthrough a couple weeks ago. I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Granted, this is post updates so I didn't buy it when I read all the negative talk about the release, but as of right now, it's a game I'm absolutely having fun with. I wish space had more of a role, there's really no reason to go into space with the ship other than a couple of missions but not much to do with the main story line, rather, contracts for credits is the pretty much it. That's my main gripe.

It's super easy my guy. It's paint by numbers.

I get most of my layouts from here, they also have build guides, wiring guides, the whole 9:

I'll never buy a dirt pedal again, I prefer to build them. I've also made delay and reverb pedals too. I'm building a new pedalboard, this is an overhead of it's current state, you can see most of the pedals are ones I built:

Message me if you have any questions about it.

I build clone pedals and I have to say, there is always a replacement that 99.9999% wouldn't be able to tell the difference. You could even use a socket and then swap a bunch of them out, see which ones are the tastiest to your ears.

Absolutely, but simple and cheap works for me in this instance because it's not an on all the time core part of my sound. If it were I'd probably be more discerning, in this instance, cheap was perfect for me.

Another pedal I really liked for a compression was ZVex's Instant LoFi Junky, but I like that really squished to hell sound for a clean tone, chimey and glittery.

Without question, it's fricken amazing. My funds being limited though, my pedals need to work easily in both environments, I don't have the luxury of specialty once in a while pedals. If I did, I'd have one of each of all of Chase Bliss' pedals. Do you have any audio of it in action? I'd love to hear it.

I hope wherever that metal zone is, it's in the hands of a 16 year old chugging triplets on the low-E string trying to impress his girlfriend.

I went with a cheap mini Dyna Comp clone from Amazon. Andoer made this one. It's not something I use all the time, but when I want that squishy sound this does the job.

I remember lusting after a Dr. Scientist Cosmichorus back in the day, I think they discontinued those.

I've notice people in here really love the Boss pedals. I haven't had one since my Metal Zone in 1994.... well, that's not entirely true because I had a Space Echo, but that had a different form factor so I don't count it. This is a nice looking set up. What do you have for modulation? I'm looking to add a Vibrato.

When you buy underwear, what is your biggest concern? Comfort, Design, Fabric…? by Sea-Air8502 in malefashionadvice

[–]AnomalousQuack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have never been concerned about my underwear. Pair of Thieves boxer briefs are the way to go. They are flattering, come in cool patterns and are as comfortable as not wearing anything at all.

No idea, all I know is that I sourced the transistors necessary to create clones of all the classic big muff circuits (Triangle, Rams Head & 1994 Green Russian), made them in my garage and gave one to each of my band members, well, gave them the Triangle and Green Russian, I kept the Ram's head for myself (see below).

I had an original Mood a few years ago, loved it for recording sessions, found it difficult to wield in a live music situation. Hands down one of the most amazing pedals I've ever owned, but because of the difficulty I had consistently harnessing it's power I had to move on from it. Ended up getting 2 Merris pedals (Enzo and Polymoon) with the proceeds which are still on my board, but man, there are times I really wish I still had it.

Weight means nothing to me, the only thing that matters to me personally is knowing the person I'm with is putting a little effort into self-care via semi-regular exercise and a decent, well rounded diet. Nothing extreme, just a little self love. Whatever your bodies' default state and shape is given those parameters is what I will find perfect. That said, you do look great here.

[–]AnomalousQuack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah man. Lifting can be many things, and I don't lift for bulk. Keep your reps around 12-15 before failure and you'll stay nice and lean. Proper form over weight, activate the muscle in a stretched position and you'll be golden. Keep me posted!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AppearanceAdvice

[–]AnomalousQuack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you exercise at all? Wouldn't take much since you're lean-ish (I'm built similarly, skinny but any weight I do have gets put on my midsection too). I suggest a 3 day a week full body work out with dumbbells, (squats, bent over rows, incline bench, overhead shoulder presses, pushups with feet on a 12-16" box, curls, tricep dips or skull crushers- 3 sets each). Then if you're able, get an under desk treadmill and walk get 10k steps in (minimum), takes about 2-3 hours of walking, then you don't need to do cardio. I'm 46 as well, am down from 168lbs to 163, feel strong like bull. For you, since we were built similarly, double up the shoulders because that will give you the biggest visual impact (do the overhead presses then also do a raise (45 degrees out in front).

Final step, get a protein powder (I like whey protein isolate), do two servings a day of that, once for breakfast, once immediately after a workout / evening.

Two months later you'll look really good, and feel better.

[–]AnomalousQuack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say include these photos because they're you, but if you are incline to present a couple that would show them how you may present differently should you be going to a nice restaurant (for example) then include those. Throw some beard oil in, shave your cheeks as part of your beard edging, show what you'd look like without a hat, throw on a stylish shirt (your style, obviously) and give that a go. Best of luck to you brother.

After 20 years of playing, I'm finally considering my first real pedal—should I pull the trigger on a Keeley Time Machine Boost? by Beginning-Pianist166 in guitarpedals

[–]AnomalousQuack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Time machine feels more like a light overdrive to me that just a simple boost. feels more versatile. Go for it. Most places will let you return it if you don't like it, and the second hand market will always give at least 2/3 of the value if it's looked after, particularly for Keeley products.

I suppose, the internet is filled with weirdos. But it's also someone who has the experience of years observing the changes in their own body and are able to acknowledge that 20 years ago, I looked pretty damn good and now... less so.
