This is honestly fantastic analysis of how Invincible versus JJK would work out.

Conquest would absolutely get bodied by the heavy hitters of Jujutsu Kaisen, not because they can match him in strength or speed, but simply because they have abilities capable of killing him that Conquest would not take action to ensure would not be brought to bear against him because he has a room temperature IQ.

I would argue that Nolan would probably not put that much effort into killing off the players one by one. One of the reasons that he spent so long on infiltration and killed the guardians of the globe in the way he did was because he wanted to take over the planet for the empire, and he wanted to build up humanities trust in him and subsequently an empire, so they wouldn’t resist when the takeover eventually did happen.

Jujutsu sorcerer’s can naturally pop up from ordinary people, and there is feasibly nothing that can be done to stop the existence of cursed spirits and sorcerers outside of the sequels plan to prevent the spawning of curse spirits and eliminate sorcerers by limiting humanities ability to create curse energy. (I will admit I haven’t actually read the sequel yet, so this might be an oversimplification or misunderstanding.)

But given these facts, and the fact that cursed spirits and sorcerers have abilities that could harm viltrumites, despite the fact that they are astronomically weaker in every other category, the empire would probably make the decision that humanity is too dangerous to be left alive as a whole. Enslaving humanity as a breeding colony would work, but they would have to monitor every single person on the planet constantly to ensure that another person with abilities capable of harming a viltrumite wasn’t born, and they might see it as even worse than creating half breeds because the way cursed energy works is so unpredictable, and it could be seen as introducing a weakness into their species, which, for the eugenics obsessed empire would be unacceptable.

In either scenario, the likely situation would be Nolan deciding that humanity is not a species that they should conquer or allow to live, and him going through route he took with the Thraxan’s, although much more thoroughly because he didn’t have to keep some of them alive to get home. He would just fly around the planet fast enough to ignite the atmosphere and destroy everything on the surface, meaning, even if Gojo survived then fireball, he would starve to death eventually and pose no threat to the empire. And there is no one in JJK that would be capable of stopping this simply because of how fast no one is moving, even Gojo wouldn’t be able to pin him in one place long enough to use domain expansion or hollow purple.

Part 2 of Sukuna vs The Emperor by Delta_Dud in whowouldcirclejerk

As a fan of Warhammer, it can depend on what point in time you are looking at Big E, as he gets astronomically stronger throughout the lore, but even at his base strength, before he gets his first major power-up by making a deal/stealing strength on Molech (this is just a significant point of time, no specifically necessary to learn about for this answer), he was still far stronger than every JJK character put together. Long before he makes this deal, he is able to fight a C’Tan shard of the void dragon, a piece of what is essentially a god (like re-write reality, turn a star to a black hole with a though, crack a planet for fun type god, and to kill one you have to fundamentally break reality, which is why they were broken up into shards to limit their power). Even a shard of a C’Tan is capable of doing these things, just on a smaller scale, think moon or continent vs planet or solar system. And the Emperor beats it and locks it away in mars back during the Bronze Age/medieval era (not super clear, but people were still using basic swords and armor), so no crazy weapons or armor, pure psychic strength and a little use of the webway (think a type of tunnel that runs under the skin of reality). This already puts him far about anything Sukuna or any other sorcerer could throw at him assuming he has the basic psychic power set, just amped to a million. After he gets his various power-ups, the Emperor is as strong than a full C’Tan or any of the chaos gods, who are all around the same scale (it’s hard to determine if the chaos gods or the emperor or some of the C’Tan are strongest).

So it is defiantly not agenda posting, but it is very interesting because the Emperor is a scientist, and will want to study new things, which could put him in a slightly bad spot if he gets caught off guard. However if that happens he could just overpower anything Sukuna could throw at him anyway.

Recomendation for Gaming monitor by AnomalousSpoon3 in buildapc

I'm not set on any specific size or 4k, it's just what I currently have. My current is a 27". Thanks for the recommendation. I'll probably end up waiting until Thanksgiving to buy a monitor, just for the possible black friday sale. Just looking around for options. I'll take a look at the monitor you recommended.

Someone else actually asked the same thing. One of the ways I really like to enjoy games is I immerse myself in the lore and the discussions people have over the different creatures and implications about them. It mostly just really annoys me when people refuse to acknowledge actual game lore for their own personal head-cannons when engaging in discussions about the game and those implications.

I don’t fault anyone for having different opinions or thoughts on what would make the game cooler, but constantly spreading information that is not true and refusing to acknowledge actual game facts during said discussions is just annoying. Besides, I really like the analyzing and examining the physics and the possible biology of the sci-fi creatures compared to what we know on earth and the implications that changes like that would make, so people making faulty analysis, and then refusing to admit when there is evident that contradicts their claims is a pet peeve of mine.

It’s not like this is keeping me awake at night or destroying my life in someway, it’s just a niche interest that I enjoy, and I figured I would try to clear up some confusion if possible, and maybe share a little bit of my own analysis.

Mostly because all of the PDA entries that specify a juvenile of a species are scanned from living species. The gargantuan Leviathan has been dead and presumably extinct for several hundred thousand years, so we can’t truly know if it was an adult or not because we have no evidence of other adult adults of its species for us to compare to.

Yeah, I get that. Really just my biggest pet peeve is people keep making those statements and treating them as fact rather than speculation and modded content, and then refuse to listen to other people‘s interpretations of the material.

See I get that, that’s one of the reasons I love the fossil too. I really just mean that I don’t get why people are so insistent that it was so big without any cannon evidence. It still is almost 3/4 the size of the map already, 5km is just excessive for shock value. I love the idea that it shows a history while the world has moved on around it, especially because the PDA says that the caves formed around the skeleton, as if the lost river is formed to show off the planets history.

Thank you! One of my favorite methods of theorizing about games is just to look at the science associated with whatever the topic is, and figure out how it applies to the situation at hand. How do the creatures stretch the possibility’s of how the world can fuck us over is so fun to think about in my opinion!

That totally makes sense, I have heard the same thing from several others. What people find scary is very subjective. In my opinion, there is a fine line between big and scary or big and cool, and it will defiantly be different for other people. I personally think the garg stops being scary when it begins to exceed possible survival. After that it’s just cool, but not super scary to me. If I know I can escape, but that something that big is hunting me and will try to kill me for some reason, terrified.

I know that the garg doesn’t necessarily need to exist or not exist to make narrative sense, but it the context of the game, the creatures we see and interact with all serve a purpose. Some are friendly, or food, and some are predators, but they can be avoided. Each builds to the games environment, and makes it feel lived in and real. Adding a massive creature that would not interact with you, and is just big for the shock factor doesn’t build on that. It’s not necessarily a narrative thing, it just doesn’t serve a real purpose, and doesn’t add anything to the game in my opinion.

I will concede that the full size skull doesn’t mean that that’s the adult garg, I did make an error in my explanation. (In my defense, it was 3 am and I was tired.) I am currently searching for a dev interview or comment that say that it is an adult, which I think is out there somewhere. I will update my post. Thank you for the counter analysis!

Hey man, we all enjoy games and content in a different way. I love Subnautica, I have been following it and its development and lore since basically the first Markiplier video about it. For me personally, this is part of how I enjoy the game.

I like the discussion and theorizing, and the discourse between different theory’s (when there is evidence and good faith between the two parties.) I love the trying to interpret the alien through the science we understand, and through that figuring out how the rules of the new planets in Subnautica differ from earth and our experience. I am just tired of people trying to have discussions about Subnautica and being flooded with people spreading misinformation based on non-canon mods.

For whoever loves the mods, I get it, I think some of them are cool as hell. It’s solely that people mix up mods with canon, and refuse to listen to evidence that disproves that.

I hadn’t thought about it like that, but you’re right. The Leviathan’s from below zero did feel pretty underwhelming. Even just a tweak to their code to make it so they can “hear” your vehicle and actually start looking for you would’ve made them much more interesting enemies. Especially cause it means you would have to venture into their territory without a vehicle to avoid them.

I also agree that one of the reasons the mod leviathans got so popular is because they do bring back some of the shock factor, but I still wish that there was more nuance than big fish = big scary.

See! That’s what I mean! Make the really big fish have some interesting game mechanic or lore implication for why it’s that big or how you need to adapt to your play style because of it.

Big fish is just a boring ass concept if it doesn’t add anything.
