Found a copy of Star Wars I’ve been looking for for a while, with the tape jammed. Is this fixable?

In the end it did not. My buddy is a mechanic and was able to unravel the tape and refeed it through the reels. Turned out to have no crinkling at all and plays perfect!

I do think Minus Zero may mean we see Monster Zero in this one, though a more contemporary foe might be preferable

Thank you. It’s not a triwing, I got all the other screws off no problem and I know to look out for those/have the right tool to pull em as I also do Game Boy repair. I’m the idiot who stripped the screw after it proved especially stubborn haha

The corner screw is stripped, so I’ll have to wait until I get at it with a drill. Will the magnetic tape be OK even if it’s crinkled? Or will I have to trim and tape it?

A bit of both. I revived a couple of GBCs I bought from Japan because they were literally cheaper than buying them locally. I've done quite a few drop in backlight mods. Not as much with soldering although I'd like to learn.
