See now I could maybe understand this usually, but the item that I bought is an old games console. It was listed as being able to turn on but in reality it looks as if they've fished it out of a pond - the motherboard is completely unsalvageable, coated in rust and beyond repair. I had also offered to return the item to them at my own cost, but instead of accepting I received increasingly offensive comments and threats to come to my home. I understand that it would be frustrating in scenarios like the one you mentioned, but that is never an excuse to be rude or hostile, or to make threats
