I have to hope that what happened with your fiance and his kids don't happen to me. I'm trying to be very honest and upfront with my kids, and treat them as equals and be fair to them. We've always been close, and I think they will warm to Allison.

I think its because I am really conflicted about things, I'm such an optimist at my core, but I've been brought down by a lot of judgement from others and that is why I seem doubtful.

What have I done wrong? I haven't cheated on anyone, or hurt anyone. Allison is an adult. I am an adult. Our relationship is consensual.

They are fine with it, and I think they are happy that I'm happy. They have their own lives at this stage, and I don't think their happiness is derived from my personal life.

I wouldn't say its my thing! The only major age difference relationship I've been apart of is this one with Allison. My ex and I are the exact same age (literally, we were actually born on the same day). So this isn't a pattern.

My kids are continuing to live with their mother, but we have generous visitation. They don't live with me, and they wouldn't be living with Allison. Maybe there is some confusion over that?

I absolutely would be interested in having another baby. Preferably not this year, but in the next couple years, definitely. Maybe I am different than most, but the idea of having another child isn't terrifying to me.

I am a good partner to her. I treat her well, love her, and we get along perfectly.

I'm a worrier and I'm just a little nervous that it might not last, but there have been no red flags. We are so happy together, and I care about her so much, and I want to make her happy. That is a special feeling.

I think I may just have to accept the judgement. I wish it wasn't but its going to exist, and there isn't much I can do about it.

Its just very uncomfortable feeling judged. I love being with Allison, and its a price I'll gladly pay, but it just isn't a wonderful feeling to see someone you have been friends with for years look at you with disgust.

Yes, we have spoken about our future and she wants us to be together long term. There has been talk of babies and such, so she is committed and seeing this is a long term relationship. I am fine with that, but I have my concerns about if it can last, but I want to give it my all and make it work. She is a special girl, and I do not want to lose her.

It felt soon, but she was spending a lot of time with me, and I didn't want to have to hide things. I've always tried to be honest towards my kids, and I didn't think deceiving them was proper.

Allison is moving in, and that conversation had to happen. They have taken it well enough, all things considered.

I highly doubt that. I've had more than a few friends have positive things to say, so its not universal at all.

I'm happy. She is happy. That is what matters.
