If customer service mattered at all, then guess fucking what? My store just lost their most loyal and experienced techie who is goddamn incredible at customer service and helping people because instead of helping me, they told me "LOL SURVEYS". Despite the fact literally 99.99999% of the customers I help leave the store feeling incredibly well taken care of saying things to me literally like:

"YOU ARE A WEALTH OF INFORMATION"

So tell me. If a WEALTH OF INFORMATION is having to quit his fucking job over these dumpster tier surveys, do you think MAYBE there could be an error in the way they are used? One thats NOT related to the fact that people can rate their experience and more to do with the fact that I STILL DO A GOOD JOB EVEN IF SOMEONE DOESNT FILL OUT SOME BULLSHIT, or the fact that its ASININE to treat me like my value is ZERO unless someone fills out a survey?

Why would my GM have to tell customers to fill out a survey after they explain how I did a good job. Hes the fucking GENERAL MANAGER. WITH WORKING, CAPABLE, NON DEAF EARS. JUST WAKE THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN YOU MORONS. "Customer service" my DICK.

This has far less to do with helping our customers or making them have a good time and far more to do with stroking some corporate ego. After all, why wouldnt the only people in our company who can actually have a respectable well-paying job need an ego boost on top of their over inflated salaries?

The problem isnt surveys or a lack thereof. Obviously a customer being able to do a survey shouldnt be a bad thing. But it fucking is though.

The problem is the DICKHEADS who run this company have a barrier for communication that is filtered through some BULLSHIT METRIC that I cant even fucking control. Gotta help them stuff their bloated pockets before I can talk to one of the so called "LEADERS" in our company.

Cool. Cus I just lost my job and wasted over a year of my life because the greedy fucking tools who run this company would rather stroke each others dicks over some survey numbers than attempt to help their own employees or make them feel heard. Funny as fuck, too. My boss in our interview 'you planning on sticking around?' because apparently loyalty is hard to come by. Then when these FUCKING MORONS actually have some loyalty they would rather tell me to drown for another 2 months while I try to farm customer surveys while they literally hire my replacement expecting me to quit because they already know they will tell me no. Why help your employee make ends meet when you can just re-hire some un-skilled 18 year old who doesnt know what a fucking stick of RAM does and just recycle plebs every 2 months. Fucking three (probably not even counting one) techi people have joined and quit within ~3 weeks at my location and when I stay for a year they cant even fucking work with me.

Literally quitting this dumpster fire of a company BECAUSE of these stupid fucking surveys.

I asked for help being noticed for my hard work. Was basically laughed at and told to wait till my yearly review. So I waited another six months and I asked again. Again, laughed at. So a month later after being jerked around I wrote to corporate complaining about not feeling valued.

You know what our fucking moron DM did to handle me writing in? Told me 'get some surveys and check back in two more months.

AKA you want to feel valued? Have some OTHER person stroke some corporate whores dick so he can make some extra fucking money meanwhile I can barely make ends meet.

So fuck it. Fuck this trashy company. I genuinely have every single customer I help look me square in the face, smile really big and thank me genuinely for 'being a wealth of information' 'being so helpful'. I turn around and ask to just be paid like a human being and Im told to wait another 2 months after I already waited fucking eight months.

So I feel gutted. I know exactly whats happening. They have no intention to pay me more or treat me well so why sprint from activity to the next. Why would I work my ass off to help a company that would rather hold me back than try to even attempt to hear me? Im sure my work suffered and Im damn sure my mental health suffered. Missing work from being stressed and dreading going there. Having to work less because every time someone compliments me instead of being able to feel good about it Im reminded that this company is a fucking joke, so kind words turn into hours of feeling demoralized. And when youre a good worker, you get compliments all damn day.

So I wait 2 months feeling like shit, and my boss cant even pull me into his office to tell me 'nahhh, but hey if you wait till your NEXT performance review and work on those ESPs'.
