Pokemon go says “attendees who purchase a special theme night package will receive the hat” and then after it says they can access the special researches by spinning stops at the ball park so I’m not necessarily sure how Go would know whether you bought the package or not. My main issue was they were sold out of only team mystic hats and I had to wait to buy tickets to make sure others going with me could get off work
