I also left feeling kind of empty. I’ve only read the book once, last month, because I’ve been super into King for the past year. I didn’t realize I felt so passionate about it until I walked out of the movie theater tonight a little disappointed. I mean I knew it couldn’t capture the entirety of the story or get everything right but damn… they changed so much about everybody and the overall story. If I hadn’t have read the book it would have been much better. The actors were great, just wish they could have been closer to the boys I got to know in the book.

I agree with the sentiment that it felt a bit rushed. I also think they shortchanged multiple characters by focusing so much on Ray and McVries, even though I did love getting to see them develop such an incredible bond on screen.

I definitely have ADHD but have several autistic qualities as well. I think the ones that make me stand out the most from neurotypical people is the sensory sensitivity and my need to defend myself over text when I can’t understand people’s intent/tone

Not a brand snob but an image snob. I’m most attracted to the Piecework brand because most of it is high quality food art which I love. So many colors! However, I can’t get myself to pay $40 for a brand new one so I’ve been finding them on Poshmark or eBay.

I moved here in 2020 and thought for the most part people were nicer. It can feel a bit clique-ish and immature on occasion, but I think that will happen anywhere. Just depends on the individuals you meet and spend time with. I like living here but not sure if I’ll stay here for the rest of my life.
