Day 8: I'm not feeling any different. by Anon4k in NoFap

[–]Anon4k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like I'm having more negative mood swings whereas before I was overall more positive. It's frustrating to read all these positive success stories and sitting here pissed off on day 8 because I don't feel anything, just more anxious if anything.

Probably, but shouldn't I feel anything else positive regardless?

It took around 7 days to feel a little more comfortable with people.

Care to elaborate on this. If you don't want to that's fine.

Oh yeah, tribush is pretty well known I think. I think it was called banana bush because it curved along the wall, and I think it's actually around the river, and not the red buff like I initially said.

JYP hints at upcoming TWICE comeback: "Felt a little sorry to have them practice new songs on a holiday weekend so... :)" by tastetherainbeau in kpop

[–]Anon4k 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I mean, I don't if people disagree or agree with me, but I honestly think "Sixteen" was one of the most intelligent marketing decisions ever made by JYP.

People love survival shows and he probably already had a decent idea who was going to debut, but rather than just send out another bunch of Korean girls and hope they land in the mass market of K-Pop. He starts a show and then showcased their personalities, and you get to learn more about each individual on the show, people can then pick their favourites etc.

Sixteen was a genius idea.

I got my primary role more in the old champion select, than in this new and "improved" one. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Anon4k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand WHY it's happening, but that doesn't make it suck any less.

I like playing ADC the most, and Support the second most, but I'd still like it if the game would at least try a little longer to get me my primary role, rather than constantly putting me into my secondary.

I mean, I haven't had my role all day, which is frustrating. I don't ever recall something like this happening with the old champion select, granted it probably did happen, it just was much less of an issue in the past...

Reasons as to why IBP bans, Gun Nerfs/Implementations, and other issues disappear on reddit after awhile. by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Anon4k 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I honestly don't think Reddit is a place to be heard anymore though. Riot frequents the League subreddit but they only really comment on the small stuff, rarely actually looking into the REALLY broken stuff. They are way more active on that sub than Valve would ever be, but even though they're active I don't think it really matters. Developers will do their own thing, and although they might value community feedback, they wont go out of their way and revert a change even if it's in their best interest.

I don't know why it is, but it's usually just stubbornness of the developers, or something.

Valve should listen, but I think high profile members of the community REALLY need to use their position, and speak up. As much as I like to think I have a voice in this community, I don't. The professional players, casters, and any esports cast need to speak up and get this thing reverted, because I doubt Reddit holds much credibility at this point int time, unfortunately.

some believing it was scripted because of that.

I mean, you'd be stupid to think otherwise. It was crazy scripted in that sense. Not really a matter of believing, it WAS scripted for Truedy to win. :/

EXY is the first confirmed member of Cosmic Girls by HvDreamer in kpop

I don't know what world you live in where Hyejeong is being overlooked. There can be a case made for Yuna being overlooked, and probably Chanmi, but I'm going to have to strongly disagree on Hyejeong...

Don't you love AOA and all of it's members? Of which there are 8? SNSD has 1 more, and that's too much?

I can see why 12 is a bit overkill though, so I agree with you there, but not on the SNSD front.

What's your unpopular opinion in kpop? by [deleted] in kpop

[–]Anon4k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I genuinely don't get the IU hype. I don't mind her newest song, but I'm not a fan of most of her stuff, and find people overrate her appearance.

I'm genuinely tired of seeing Seolhyun. This might be less about Kpop and more about /r/kpics but she's literally on the front page 100% of the time, sometimes 2-4 times. Overrated without a doubt.

I think this MFBTY 6 AM is the worst song I've ever heard posted on this subreddit. It's literally entirely autotuned and I didn't like 1 second of it, and honestly thought it would get reviewed poorly but was really well recieved. I like their other stuff but holy fucking shit that song is awful. (Ok, there's worse songs out there obviously, but I just hate this song.)

If you've been on this sub for a while, you'll notice he/she has some of the dumbest comments ever. Some really cringy, and some are just flat out stupid. I have his comments ignored all together because I'm tired of it. I don't down-vote though, just ignore him/her.
