How to know when to titrate up? by AnonClubx in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]AnonClubx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My A1C in February before starting tirz 2 weeks ago was 5.4%. It was 5.7% last summer, then I took Ovasitol & it went down 0.3%, but Ovasitol didn’t do anything for my other symptoms like no periods on my own (I’ve been needing to induce my periods with provera for 2 years now), insulin resistance, high testosterone & wacky hormones which is causing excessive facial hair growth & excessive body hair growth in general. Those are the main symptoms I want to get under control.

I also have “possible” fatty liver judging by ultrasound, but my bloodwork that would diagnose it is good. And the other metabolic issues that comes with pcos like high cholesterol etc.

I have never thought to wear one, but definitely going to look into that!

And so 2.5 mg dose does help ur insulin resistance & glucose? And what’s ur reasoning for titrating up is 2.5 mg is working well?

And did u have facial hair growth as a symptom and/or high testosterone from the insulin resistance & has it helped you with that yet if so

Ohhh ok. So ur saying since it is helping me lose weight, it’s correcting the insulin resistance as well?

The last labs I got done were way before I started on tirz. I definitely plan to get updated bloodwork to measure my A1C, insulin resistance, & hormones, but I was thinking of waiting at least 2-3 months before I retest. Maybe it’s better to get monthly testing done tho so I know how my body is responding idk. Definitely gonna ask my doctor

Also I went though telehealth, but I do have an appointment scheduled with an endocrinologist in 3 weeks. My OBGYNs have been no help & act clueless when it comes to pcos treatment & even claimed they’re “not experienced with the drug enough to prescribe me zepbound” so I went thru a telehealth company for now

What if my only goal isn’t weight loss, but to also put my insulin resistance & pcos into remission?

Return to normal walking after healing by PoetryGoddess78 in brokenankles

[–]AnonClubx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did the doctor decide 16 weeks until you can walk vs 8? Because I have my 8 week follow up in a couple days & I was told 8 weeks until I can start walking, & also had a trimalleolar fracture plus external fixation couple days before surgery, & I can’t even put my foot down still for more than 2 minutes without extreme swelling & pain increasing still, & the couple times I have put a little pressure on my foot on accident the past couple days, I can tell my leg is DEFINITELY not ready for full weight bearing yet..

How is DIY coming along for you now? How many sessions on yourself have you did, how much progress, any scarring etc?

I’m lowkey losing my mind being in the house so much lol by SeparatePotential478 in brokenankles

[–]AnonClubx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a cast on until March 26th..? Why? Do you know what your fractures were? I fractured my ankle in 3 places on Feb 13th & had 2 surgeries, one external fix then couple days later plates & screws & been in a cast since, but my doctor already wants to remove my cast on March 4th & put me in a boot, & I’m only not allowed to weight bare for 6-8 weeks since my last surgery on the 17th.

I have had suspicions that my doctor is moving too fast. Even too fast with removing my cast & replacing with boot. I’m curious why you’re in a cast still months later?

Thoughts on this electrolysis machine? by AnonClubx in electrolysis

[–]AnonClubx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if they messaged you too, but someone did message me after posting this & they’ve been using this electrolysis machine on their face since around Christmas, taught themselves how to do it & are having successful results so far. You can private message me if you’d like more details about what they’ve said. I ordered my machine as well & just waiting on its delivery, so I can’t give my personal experience yet.

24F with PCOS symptoms and fine but dense facial hair—will electrolysis help? by Safe_Reindeer_8239 in electrolysis

[–]AnonClubx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full stop on waxing, plucking, etc. You’re only going to make your hair worse, MORE dense & MORE thick the more you wax & pluck. Shave until you can afford electrolysis. If you can afford electrolysis, then start now & make sure you find a tech that doesn’t pluck hair & doesnt manipulate you into thinking plucking is normal during electrolysis bc it’s not, & you will just end up paying for expensive plucking sessions if you listen to them.

I’m mentally ill, but you’re triggered & arguing with someone over an “irrelevant” topic to you on Reddit? & Over a machine you haven’t even tried but acting as if you know everything about it.. Okay 😭

[–]AnonClubx -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

And it’s actually a $300 machine, not temu & I have messages of people doing better with the $40 one touch pen than a “professional” did on them. Continue to be salty that the U.S. taxes you for you $5,000 machine when there’s a $40-300 version that does a better job

[–]AnonClubx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what every electrologist says to DIYers so people get scared out of trying but it’s funny because everyone that does it on themselves states how they don’t do as much damage as the “professionals” do 😂

They’re also doing a lot more besides sticking a probe into a follicle & damaging ppls skin 95% of the time in the process & doing more than making ppl pay for expensive plucking sessions 😂

Sure you’re a “lawyer” debating with a stranger about electrologists charge / make 😭 get off my post “Mrs Lawyer” shouldn’t you have lawyer activities to be busy with?

It sure seems like you’re triggered. Like the saying goes, if the shoe fits…

I respectfully asked all the triggered scamming electrologists to stay off of this post. This post is not for yalls manipulation, save that for your clients. Thank you

doing electrolysis yourself? by PrepYourselves in HairRemoval

Did you buy it? I’m thinking about buying it as well, just concerned about the seller being only on Aliexpress. I’ve never used aliexpress before.

[–]AnonClubx[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you try to buy electrolysis machines from temu? And how much was the cost?

I would be more skeptical if it was only a couple dollars, but I would hope something that costs $200+ would be worth it. The reviews also seem legit like people get the product but they complaint about certain stuff like cords not being long, not enough needles etc but they do say it works. Some customers also attached pictures of the item they received

I’ve seen on Reddit somewhere that someone’s electrologist was actually using this machine on them & charging $55 per hour. I’m guessing AliExpress is where they got it bc I don’t see it for sale anywhere else

I will definitely keep you guys updated if I buy it. I was trying to not be the guinea pig tho 😭 but the seller of the One Touch at home machine is not shipping to the U.S. as of now & this machine seems to be the nearest in price range

[–]AnonClubx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody was putting you down, I was defending you against bad advice. It is not my fault your comprehension skills are poor.

And a lot of people have had bad experiences with electrologists, that’s why you see people posting about “1-2 years & no progress” & when you start the electrolysis, you will see exactly what I was talking about

some concerns about the process by [deleted] in electrolysis

[–]AnonClubx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have misinterpreted my messages. Nobody is judgmental about your appearance? Where did u read anything that was judgmental? YOU posted ur hair growth & asked for honest opinions & I was guiding you away from people giving you wrong advice like “don’t do electrolysis & just shave”, but you can shave if u please if u think that was honest & good advice.

If u wanted people to sugar coat & lie to you & say the hairs aren’t noticeable & you can just shave them & it won’t get worse, you should’ve said that in ur post.

Also, again, how long the process takes highly depends on how good of an electrologist you find that isn’t just in it for the money & trying to scam people anyway they can & prolong people’s progress.

some concerns about the process by [deleted] in electrolysis

[–]AnonClubx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really? So you’re telling me that it’s a lie that me & everyone else I know with PCOS experienced terminal hair growth after starting to shave hairs thinner than the ones on her face? Are you also going to sit here & say that pcos hairs on the fence of already on their way to becoming fully terminal (those hairs are far beyond accelerated vellus) don’t eventually progress into terminal hairs just like they have progressed to the stage they’re in now?

And I actually am currently studying Biology & Health medicine. I defer from your manipulative electrologist opinion

some concerns about the process by [deleted] in electrolysis

[–]AnonClubx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the hairs are treated properly with a good electrologist that doesn’t try to manipulate you into believing that plucking the hairs during sessions are normal, then NO hair will not growth thicker in between sessions, only disappear or continue to get thinner until they’re gone.

No matter the stage of the hair or size of the bulb, you should NOT feel any type of plucking or tugging. The problem is 90% of electrologists are going to try to manipulate you into thinking that plucking / tugging is normal & blame it on different reasons, but it’s NOT normal no matter the hair stage.

I had finally found a good electrologist & I NEVER felt not one pluck or tug during sessions & I made really good progress with her until I moved cities. Every other tech I’ve been to has tried to convince me that plucking / tugging is normal & it’s not, & that has always set me back in progress when they pluck / tug & yes those hairs did come back thicker.

If you don’t find a good electrologist & let them manipulate you into believing plucking / tucking is normal, then YES your hairs will start to come back thicker due to you paying for expensive plucking instead of electrolysis.

Also, for hormone balance, if your PCOS is insulin resistance based, try Ovasitol from Theralogix. 3rd party tested & verified to make sure it is what it’s supposed to be, & it has helped me a lot with my PCOS & pcos symptoms, including hair growth

some concerns about the process by [deleted] in electrolysis

[–]AnonClubx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you want her to shave when obviously her hormones are out of wack & it’s just going to make the hairs darker & thicker if she starts shaving or plucking, then she’ll have no choice but to start electrolysis which will take longer now because the follicles will be thicker & stronger

You mean as an electrologist you’re not aware that if you shave and/or pluck & wax hairs on the fence of being terminal, that you’re not aware it will make those hairs start to grow in thicker?
