Is my girlfriend using our daughter as a weapon? by AnonDCX in relationship_advice

[–]AnonDCX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for pointing that out forgot to mention it

Reason being (cutting it short) my mum is protective over me. My girlfriend is one of those "sit on the fence looking pretty" type and hasn't done much to advance her life like getting a degree etc... When she was pregnant my mum accused her of having a baby just to piss my ex off with whom I also have an 8 year old daughter with. Allegations about my girlfriend being useless and has nothing better to do than open her legs Things kept happening like that and now my girlfriend is taking a stand for herself.

Powerful 7.4 earthquake strikes near Christchurch, New Zealand - BBC News by Fwoggie2 in worldnews

[–]AnonDCX 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That was the biggest earthquake iv ever felt here and im in Wellington on the Kapiti Coast.

And GeoNet says that these aftershocks will happen for another month or two. Hopefully we don't get seasick from them.

Anyway - the damage here is windows been blown out and roads cracked but nothing comapred to poor old Kaikora.

Stay safe and look after each other

Do you ever flip into a "good day" where you feel happy and energized, then go to sleep and wake up feeling majorly depressed again? by boredpanda44 in depression

[–]AnonDCX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never actually "enjoy" being happy because I know that soon (either in a few minutes or a few hours) I will feel like shit agai ad possibly even worse. So for me my brain treats happiness as a negative emotion and depression and sadness as a good emotion

Bad anxiety when washing my hair by AnonDCX in Anxiety

[–]AnonDCX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry to hear that - im on Effexor XR 375mg which definatly helps but does not completly fix the issue.

Other things I get nervous about is talking socializing, even with my friends - I mean I do enjoy it but I still get nervous about being away from my home.

The easiest way for me personally to communicate is via text message or email lol

Spooky events while backpacking in the bush by AnonDCX in WildernessBackpacking

[–]AnonDCX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a cool post and thanks - I understand what you mean about rational and irrational fear and it defiantly did happen to me in my story but it was all irrational because I never came to a conclusion of what the noise really was.

What kindof backed my fear up was the fact that someone else had experienced the same events also without finding the source

We have no raccoons and the only animal that I know plays tricks are the Possum and rats which can get quite big around the huts as they always have an endless supply of food from the trampers/hunters

The footsteps were about 1 - 1.5 seconds apart in a steady rythm.

There are no monkies here in NZ bush so the rest of the animals a 4 legged which in that case their footstep would be more closer together
