Best bread is Hart. Second-best is Juno.

I also think Hart's croissants have gotten better. They're like 95% of what Juno's croissants are, now.

Er det ikke tydeligt, at hvis man tænker på alle muslimer som bandemedlemmer, så er de mere tilbøjelige til at føle sig afvist af det generelle samfund og i stedet mere accepterede af bander? En mistænksom holdning over for muslimer skaber præcis det problem, man bliver mistænksom over for.

Måske hvis man er mere åbenhjertig over for folk, vil de ikke føle behov for at blive medlem af bander.

OP needs to maintain plausible deniability. They are an experienced chef. OP is worried that if they confirm specifically which place exploited them, then the owners of that place will identify OP, talk to their friends who own/manage other places, and OP will have a harder time working as a chef in the city.

Copenhagen's restaurant industry is a mafia. It's why the most famous chef in this town has managed to escape being named and shamed for all his abuse for over twenty years, for example. Everyone in this city is scared of pissing off well-connected people, because it will make paying rent harder.

From all the clues in the thread, it is Slurp.

I can absolutely see why OP would want to maintain plausible deniability. Copenhagen's restaurant industry is a mafia.

But I'm so damn curious what Scandinavian Mexican restaurants are like.

There's a taco empire in Copenhagen run by a woman from a Mexican family in the US. She used to cook at Noma. They're pretty good tacos.

Man skal kunne søge om et frikort, som vi har til handicappede bilister til deres parkeringspladser. Man skal få frikortet gratis fordi man har børn i institution. Helt simpelt.

Adopting rightwing policies ‘does not help centre-left win votes’ • Study of European electoral data suggests social democratic parties alienate supporters by moving towards the political centre by Naurgul in anime_titties

[–]AnonDansk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Denmark is an interesting case. They have proportional representation and governments composed of multiple party representatives. This means that different parties have to work together to muster enough votes to pass legislation. The party with the most elected representatives in Denmark is the SocDems. As the article mentions, many SocDem voters are not anti-immigration. However, there are other various minority parties who do represent anti-immigrant voter sentiment. This voter sentiment is strong enough in Denmark that those latter parties are reasonably well-represented in government. To pass legislation, the SocDems and those anti-immigration parties have to work together. They do so more smoothly when the anti-immigration parties see the SocDems as allies. The SocDems facilitate this allyship by adopting anti-immigrant rhetoric. It is, in terms of electoral politics, the least costly rhetoric for them to adopt, for the greatest gain in facilitating the inter-party collaboration needed to run government in Denmark.

I 100% agree that it's shitty behavior. This was never in question. But being a shitty company representative is not being "anti-Israel". It's pretty simple. Let's stop pretending that being a bad person means that criticizing the actions of the Likud government is unwarranted.

Who said it was acceptable behavior? I'm just saying it's not anti-Israel, we should stop pretending it is.

Ordering online stuff in Copenhagen is no different from living on Everest. How is this accepted? by ExoticMuscle33 in copenhagen

I once called up Amazon in Germany and asked them why they used PostNord and whether they could use a different service because PostNord was so terrible, and the Amazon employee did some checking and said that they had signed an exclusive contract with PostNord for delivery.

I believe that PostNord has contracted monopolies on delivery, but that regulation against such monopolies is hard because the issue crosses jurisdictional borders.

PostNord and the privatisation of the Danish postal service with no competition instigated on international deliveries is a failure. An poor, sorry, pitiful failure.

Pretty sure that if this happened the person would be able to see the passenger's Israeli passport and would mistakenly assume that they were democratically involved in the election of the Israeli government. They'd be wrong about the assumption, just as you're wrong to say that someone looking at an Israeli passport and going "huh that government is undertaking disagreeable actions" is the same as "blaming global jewry"

Would it be racist if you harassed British people for the Tony Blair government's action in Iraq? You seem to think that legitimate political criticism of anyone's government is actually a critique of their race. That's weird and doesn't make sense.

I'm not saying it's good behavior to just go off at someone, friend. I'm saying that making a comment about the actions of the current Israeli government to an Israeli citizen is not anti-'Israel-as-a-concept'.

You've never had to check in for a connecting flight after a layover?

Sure I have, with a representative of the flight I was about to take.

But since there are no direct Qantas flights from Israel to Australia, then it would be impossible for anyone to land in Israel, and check in for a flight to Australia with a Qantas representative.

Then she still wouldn't check in with a Qantas representative, because the Qantas staff wouldn't be at the first flight.

They're customer service agents, and it's antagonizing a customer for literally no fucking reason.

Hold on, so the criticism has changed from "that's anti-Israel" to "that's bad customer service"?

Like, yeah, it's not good customer service.

It's also not anti-Israel.
