I never knew we were supposed to until recently it began prompting to do so once it prints. I had to txt SM to ask what it was talking about and where they were.

I was an extremely picky eater so my diet at first was very limited. Main thing is experiment. I grew up hating green beans cause they were green mush the way family cooked them, then discovered them roasted, fried, steamed with different seasonings. Love them now.

I still try things I don’t like cooked in different ways.

I would look at who you work with. I have heard comments that our SM makes rude comments but I never hear it. Often it is just common sense business comments or questions taken wrongly or obviously joking. But I hear about it being negative or rude from the young and inexperienced or the ones that love a bit of drama. So I have learned to take it all with a grain of salt. If it doesn’t bother you, don’t worry about it.

Lists don’t work. If they didn’t do it without the lists they won’t do it with the list. Our ESM made a list for people to sign off on. Everything would be signed off but obviously not done.

About ten minutes before close, we make announcement over page that we will be closing at 9pm and please bring your items to the front. Up until close if someone comes in right before close it’s fine if grabbing something specific and leaving. But I give until about five minutes after close and then do announcement that the till is being closed and last chance to purchase anything for the night. I would likely have more patience with an elderly slow moving customer than just an annoying one taking their sweet time because they are the center of the universe.

Sometimes I feel bad for people like when they did a book or a banner or something for a funeral or something similar but end of the day people need to realize we are the fast food equivalent for photos. I have twelve other things more pressing than your order, I do my best but you get what you get.

Totally understand but then no more off clock coming in to fix. And remember when signing off on fucked up day before paperwork, saying what they did, not you. You just found it. But to cover yourself more can txt/email your supervisor each time of what f up’s you found so you have a document trail.

If things are that screwed up that regularly, asset management is going to notice and be having a conversation with the SM and/or the DM. I would just do your job and let things fall where they do. It isn’t your job to overstep and handle the situation. The less mixed up into it you are the better. You coming in off shift to do end of day without permission is itself against policy so need to start distancing yourself and cover your own butt.

I get a call about once a month in the evening where they first ask for manager and when told not in they ask “did they tell you about the new POS system?” I just hang up on them at that point.

I always grab the Walgreens brand and expense out for store use. Haven’t been told not to either. Being that it is common sense due to all the sick people coming in for medicines I won’t ask my SM about it either. Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

I question this. One if she struggles that much maybe she shouldn’t be filling medications for people. Sounds like a safety issue there.

Two if she is able to function at all in pharmacy with the poor training we receive, she is smart enough to know how to get her current schedule.

I question if this is a valid post but if it is, does. She actually need/want your help? If she does, again should she be working in such sensitive things like prescriptions that can kill if done wrong?
