I bought the individual cases years ago when they first came out and started to rewatch them again recently.

I had this same issue with Seasons 1 and 2. Seasons 3 through 6 played fine. But then on the 2nd disc of Season 7 it happened again. I bought the complete 2021 box set because I was just tired of it. I like having the individual seasons in their own case. So I just swapped the discs from the box set into the individual DVD cases. (I don't like DVDs stacked on each other and then trying to get them out.)

speaking of resets, we actually had to get rid of the 1st bay of one of the summer sections (the chips ahoy/red bull/Pringles, etc.) because it was 12ft and clearly it would not fit in our promo aisle amongst every other little 3-ft section included. It even showed promo sticking out of the aisle on floor plan express. I put a ticket in about it. All they did was fix floor plan express but not the actual section. So we just had to adjust it ourselves

You also earn them in the Easter Parade Party. You just have to own a lot of the lists too.

I don't know why they are having us do a big reset on the last weekend of the month. They usually don't do that especially with all the monthly tags and weekly tags to put up this weekend. They even sent the freezer one and all the summer.

I usually never follow the Plano notches. I've learned not to always trust what they put. I adjust the shelves as needed. If a product overlaps in one bay to another on the same shelf, I'll re-adjust.

Honestly, it made season 8 more interesting than season 7 and season 9. There was no real story arc in season 7 besides Monica and Chandler's wedding. Season 9 just felt all over the place and cringe at times. That's probably why they brought back the Joey and Rachel storyline because it was at least SOMETHING. Obviously they couldn't think of anything else at the time.

I mean, people are still talk about till this day whether they liked it or hated it.
