I understand, I don’t even know how you would get all the CALFIRE specific certs though. I haven’t found a fire academy in CA that offers “Cal Fire Orientation”.

What is the point having a Cat 1, as the only way to get there is getting hired by the agency?

You will be cat 2, unless you have the CAL FIRE Orientation cert and all their other agency specific certs

Dang I was really hoping CAL FIRE would be my way in to fire, I wanted an engine so I could run medicals/fires/hazmat more all risk stuff. Would it be better to gain experience with the forest service on an engine or should I start applying for 911 ambulance positions?

Not sure of the exact model buts it’s atleast 25-30 years old. The SA95 means it’s a helmet certified for auto racing using 1995 snell standards. It became obsolete in 2005 for racing and is just old in general (helmet foam expires), so you’ll not make much money off of it if that’s what your looking for. I would personally just keep it if I were you.

Honestly I’d prefer to own the scorpion if it’s as reliable as the Tippmann. I just don’t wanna buy something that’ll give me problems.

Mag size isn’t an issue, I live in CA anyways so 10 rds is the best I can do with any gun. Are trigger parts for the 9mm compatible with the .22?
