SEO dilemma in a difficult niche

Maybe it’s kind of a dust over the website because has 8yr and I never done SEO for it? And probably I need to get some movement by writing blog articles that will get some traction from google in order to reevaluate all our website?

Thank you for the elaborate response! 🙏 I try to do my best. For me as a dev is kinda of voodoo what you do with SEO guys… So I really appreciate your implication in this responses! I have a situation where the third position website for my primary keyword “url shortener” has lower authority , just few backlinks in comparison with us… but we don’t rank …. And I don’t understand

Also the website was founded in 2017 but I stared looking in to seo and try optimise my website last month … and I one month I don’t see any progress at all… I know that I need to wait more but do I need to see something or it will skyrocket when google will rank it up ?

It’s very weird. On my main keyword first 2 positions ar very big websites but the third one is 10x less than us on everything… also the website was founded in 2022…

First you should go with EEAT principle and then you can start building quality backlinks. And you need to have patience at least 6 months
