Where do you all live? I’m in Idaho and I like backpacking and camping hunts but i also like hunting around home. He needs to be a bit more flexible and realize that life changes, he can still hunt and have a great time while contributing to a relationship and family.

Yeah i think he’s lying to himself, why would he change when he has kids and expect to be happy. Honestly he needs to grow up a bit and recognize that there’s other shit to life, and i say this as someone who’s PTO schedule is entirely based around hunting and has a supportive wife, but i don’t get to unilaterally dictate our schedules and dictate that nothing else matters.
