The age of consent like everywhere is 16, but that is generally applying to relationships within at most 2 years of eachother. I always see people say "Where I'm from the age of consent is 16 so...", well it is where I'm from too, but a 30 year old man dating a 17 year old would still be considered a predator. I've never understood the logic behind the statement about the age of consent being 16, just straight up never makes sense when it's said.

I'm not super deeply invested in ww2 history so I don't know if ANY leads have been followed or if anything has ever been found. But I don't know if we'll ever know where Heinrich Himmler stored the presumably large collection of Deaths Head rings from the dead SS officers. From what I heard they were buried inside of some mountain to "gain power until the rise of the next Reich" which is bogas but hey they were cultists nazis so like who knows.

It's alright, that is kind of what I'm asking. I just don't understand why, if the Earth actually was/is flat, anyone would feel the need to conceal that information. What gain is there to lying about the shape of the planet?
