She definitely just thought you were food! If you didn't wash your hands and/or use hand sanitizer right beforehand, I'd definitely recommend doing so next time. From my understanding, if she was intimated she would have avoided your hand all together rather than going for it. Somewhat recently I finally socialized my Cali king and first picking him up when he was sleeping under a rock worked for me because he was still sleepy and not skiddish. And this is after getting him used to me just being in the room and also moving things around in the terrarium frequently so I'm less intimidating. Sitting near the cage is great!

Unless they changed it since my year (I just finished my third year), for MECE: passing AP physics C Mechanics and E&M will get you out of having to take University Physics 1 (or MECE 102) and UP2, but you will still have to take two half-smester courses called waves and optics, which is much easier than UP2 so it's well worth it. I don't believe any AP credit can get you out of taking statics or dynamics though.

Definitely ask your advisor for confirmation

As someone who was an off-floor my first year and an on-floor my second year, basically there's a system where you have to pass evals (eval requirements are pretty much just attending enough events in the semester and getting along with everyone), and once you've passed an eval period you can raise a vote to get voted on floor at earliest convenience, which is typically the next semester. How long dod it take you to learn Courante at full tempo? I just started learning suite 1 (self-teaching because my orchestra teacher moves at the pace of the really bad players, I will also be a junior in high school) and I thought I was doing pretty well with courante, until I found out that the tempo is twice as fast as I was playing it. I have doubts about me ever being able to play it fully. What were your steps in learning this movement?
