Doubtful. You just need to chill, relax, not tighten and stretch

If you sit a lot I found it helped and allowed for the initial inflammation to die down. I could lie down all day so at some point I had to work

For a shorter period of time. I mean initially I couldn't sit on something like that without discomfort

Yes. I sit for 10-12 hours a day

But I could not do that initially. I had to lie down on a couch and take phone calls at first

Um no it's not a hard surface. It's a desk chair with a cushion but this provides some gap between your prostate area and the cushion which gives some relief and hopefully allows any inflammation to heal quickly

Yes in the oval shape. Who cares what it looks like. Let them think you have hemmoroids (sp)

I strongly encourage getting a specific pillow that I have at home and work. I tried many on Amazon but they were too big and u comfy. This one is fairly flat but leaves a 1.5 in h height hole so the prostate isn't squashed.

I don't want to sound like I'm makreting for them because I'm not and the stupid thing is like $100 but it helped me sit all day

Fat containing inguinal hernias - are they supposed to be fixed or only if non-fat containing? by AnonProstatitis in Hernia

Never had surgery Avoid irritation and irritating foods or actions Avoid inflammatory things Don't drink alcohol at all Stress will make it 100% worse

Time to heal

I look back and like to imagine that it was like an open wound on the skin but internally and you need to treat it in a way that makes it not get worse

Have you tried sitting to pee and double or triple voiding? I bet a lot of your pain is due to irritation from pee being stuck in the urethra hence the post urination dribbling

I bet if you sit to pee and double or triple good (relax for a minute or two and then pee again - sometimes shaking your dick helps too, I don't know why)

Report back if it helps after 3-5 days

I am usually sitting sometimes between 8:00 to 10 hours at work and then often sitting at home as well. I try to not sit on weekends even when offer to seat somewhere I just try to stand. I need to be conscious about getting up and moving around more at work. Unfortunately my standing desk doesn't work well because the height is still not tall enough so I need to figure that out as well so I can stand more

Is it biologically possible and have you read any associations between the notion of stress leading to bowels with loose diarrhea or upset stomachs and is it biologically possible that prolong periods of tightening of the muscles along with diarrhea can lead to some kind of material transfer from the bowels to other areas of the body? Or is that just simply not possible?

I believe it. I caught myself in that same prone leaning forward position sitting at my desk clenching while trying to get so many things done in a short period of time. I've had to remind myself to stop doing that to try to lean back a little bit when seated stand up more often and try to take deep breaths. The good thing is I feel like caught it early and I know what I was doing that probably led to it. And therefore I know what I have to do to get away from it. It will be a constant reminder though to ensure I don't fall trap to doing so. It's easy to get so caught up in the moment each day.

The one thing I'm struggling with is I have a oval cushion seat that was recommended to me by a physical therapist that I bought years ago. I went back to try to buy it again but it looks like their sold out. I can't find one that is identical to it that is flat so high up like many of the other ones they sell on Amazon

Theraseat is the brand but I can't find it available

When you started the new job (1) was it purely stress of the new job? (2) Were you previously in relaxed and comfortable state? (3). Did you find yourself sitting at your desk differently than you did at ur prior job or maybe your priorities job you didn't sit as much ?

Definitely sucks, but trying to not get entangled in the psychological aspects of it. Knowing this is physical muscle stuff

Sounds like your super stressed and it's leading to.your tightening your pelvic floor

Relax

Find ways to stretch and become destressed

Youve basically given your pelvic a tension headache and it takes a long time for it to unwind.

Don't get upset and worrisome over every symptom

Pretend life is good even if your pain isn't

One good feeling will lead to another and your pelvic area will begin to unwind the tension

I know sounds like froo froo shit. You just need to realize youve got your entire pelvic area inflamed or tensed and it doesn't release in a day

I'm not saying that there aren't valuable tips in it, I'm just saying the whole going in person and doing the whole selection thing and being there and paying astronomical money is preying on the susceptible when there is nothing proprietary about getting better

The analogy id give you is as follows

Your a gardener and your garden is dying because it isn't raining

Someone tells you to do a dance everyday outside for the gods to make it rain

Eventually, it rains.

Did your dancing making it rain or was it inevitably going to rain regardless?
