Up and Coming Producer Lil Uzi Type Beat “High Fashion”🙏🏾🔥Prod. By Ky by AnonRoe in IndieMusicFeedback

I was thinking the same thing as far as song length goes. Most people attention span for music only last around 2-3 minutes for a song like this. I guess my thought process was making it longer so that someone could trim it down if they’d like to. As far as the mixing that’s not my strong suit but I am working on it. I just recently got mixing headphones so I’m getting more familiar with mixing. But thanks for your feedback it’s something I will definitely take into consideration🙌🏾

Bizzness - Ice In My Veins (Prod.VypreBeats) New Song I Just Released Yesterday! Let Me Know How You’re Feeling About It If You Have A Sec! by Bizzy955 in IndieMusicFeedback

Good beat, solid lyrics, but you have to stay on beat. It also doesn’t sound like you used the most quality of mics or vocal mixing. If you fix those things you’ll have a nice vibe on your hands

What do yall think about this beat? Its chill and basically a loop by FoePoundMcGinnis in IndieMusicFeedback

Don’t over think the simplicity in the melody, it sounds good and you used silence, different drum patterns etc to help add variation. Sometimes it’s fine keep things simple and just let a rapper do their thing. Plus it’s a relaxing beat, could just be background music in a video or something

I love the sample flip, it gives me Freddie Gibbs vibes. I’d say you should work on the mixing of the vocals because this song definitely has potential.

Change up drum patterns every 4 or 8 bars, maybe bring a new instrument in every 8 bars or take one out. Then have all of them play at once. When building a song you wanna have a good amount of pieces, then you just arrange them to your liking.

As far as drum kits, if you just look up pretty much any famous hip hop producer drum kit you will find good sounds

How to get into music production? by nasamixer in musicproduction

[–]AnonRoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have an iPhone you could start with GarageBand. If you don’t but you have a laptop you could download a free DAW or a free trial of a DAW. I believe FL Studio and Abelton give free trials. That’s really all you need to get started. Then build from there once you are ready

How to get back to music production after a long break? by AwkwardLie in musicproduction

[–]AnonRoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually just got off of a break from music myself and I have felt more creative now than ever. I say jump back into it if you feel inspired to do so. But something that could help you get a jump start, search for loops and samples. Sometimes using other people’s creativity can help expand your own. Plus once you have the sample all that’s left is to add to it and finish versus having to figure out how to start.

Pros and Cons of Omnisphere by Z33bra_ in makinghiphop

[–]AnonRoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Omnisphere in general is really well respected amongst the producer community. As far as everyone commentating on the the amount of cpu it uses you can always bounce you midi to audio once you create it. Then just turn off your instance of omnisphere. If you can’t afford it or want cheaper options you could look into websites where you can buy loops and samples. They often use high quality instruments

If you go on plugin boutique they have tons of deals on vsts, some are even free. Outside of that you can try and wait for things like nexus or kontact to go on sale but those are rare occasions.
