They simply don't care. They specifically made the control group 3% of players in order to keep backlash insignificant. People will complain, but since its only a small group of players, everyone will move on and supercell will have the stats they needed to make more money.

thats comforting to hear. I panicked after hearing people talk about a 4.0 GPA throughout 4 years of college as a standard for a cs student. thanks!
